The Hulkfit weight plate holders are a great storage solution for my home gym. I needed something that wouldn’t take up a lot of room, so being able to store my plates right on my rack has been an ideal way to keep them off the ground. They seem strong and well built. Very sturdy and good fit for rack. Much heavier and more precise design than other version of j-hook. Has lining on inside to reduce scratches on rack. It looks like there is a challenge on one screw for the resin pad riser. Screws are countersunk M4 and all have room to protrude thru the back side of the metal plate except for one. The bottom screw of the riser resin pad will rub against and scratch the rack if too long. This they have to be shorter than standard size. Picked these up from Amazon warehouse labeled as like new. Looks like previous customer tried to fix this issue with a different and shorter machine screw on the resin pad. They are not holding so the riser plate can shift side to side a little. I will work with customer support to figure this out. 9/1) Update to original review. The typical starting length of M4 screw is 10mm. I was able to replace the two screws with M4x5mm.     • Sturdy and Affordable
I decided to get some accessories to compliment my Hulkfit power rack. I picked up 2 pairs of the plate holders and a pair of safety bars. They all fit my rack great and are very sturdy. Each of them do come as a pair which is great, making them very affordable. The only thing with the plate holders is that you have to carefully consider where you want to place them on your rack because you can block your DIY cable set up (if you decide to go that route) or if you choose to squat inside the rack, when you load up your plates on the plate holders, because of the diameters of the bumper plates, they can get in the way of your squat. That was one of the reasons I decided to get the safety bars so I can comfortably squat outside of my rack as well. The addition of the plate storage and plates also helped immensely in increasing the stability of my rack. There is much less swaying, making the overall rack very sturdy. ... show more

I picked up these J hooks because I wanted another set to go with my HulkFit Pro Series Power Cage - 800lb Capacity rack. I was using the J hooks attached to the safety bar and realized the J hooks were down to low. These J hooks are a perfect fit for my HulkFit Pro Series Power Cage - 800lb Capacity, and I am able to place them where I need them. They're much heavier then the ones that came with it. This review is for the HulkFit weight holders. I’ve noticed amazon tends to group all HulkFit reviews into one mass reviews so hopefully this will clarify what I am reviewing. After singing praise for the HulkFit power rack I am sorely disappointed when it comes to the HulkFit weight holders. Like others have stated good weight holders will have a slight angle upward to ensure weights don’t slide off. However these weight holders are straight and flat no angle at all to them, I would be super leery putting these high up on my power rack as such I have them on the 2nd to lowest space near the bottom of the rack. Now I am not one to really care about looks, since the whole purpose of these are to hold heavy weights, but man the welds and QC on these weight holders are terrible. On the lip of one weight holder there is a bump of metal, doesn’t really prevent me from racking my weights but it sure is an eye sore. Also there are poor welds, scratches all up and down the weight holder peg itself just not fun to look at. Fundamentally though do these things do their job? Yes they hold the weights in place and for that I will give 3 stars. However having bought and used the Yes4All 2x3 weight holder, man the Yes4All is just heads and tails better than the HulkFit in terms of usage, aesthetic, etc. I’ve included photos of the HulkFit and Yes4All so you can see the differences between the 2. Yes4All weight pegs aim up and have a rubber ring to prevent plates from hitting flat against the rack but the pole/sizing is not perfect for the rack. HulkFit pegs are straight, aesthetically not appealing, but the sizing fits the rack perfectly and does the job. What I find helpful for the HulkFit weight holder is taking a piece of plastic and placing it under the weight pegs to give it a slight angle upward. Overall if you need weight pegs and want the right hole/sizing for your power rack get these but understand there’s a lot of flaws. Amazon messed up my photo upload for some reason so here's what they are: Photo 1 - Metal bump on the lip of the HulkFit weight holder Photo 2 - HulkFit weight holder with a UHMW plastic underneath it giving it an upward angle Photo 3 - Bad welds/scratches on the HulkFit weight holder Photo 4 - HulkFit weight holder with a UHMW plastic underneath it giving it an upward angle with a Bumper Plate in it Photo 5 - Yes4All 2x3 weight holder, you can see that the sizing is off since it doesn't go across the entire rack frame but the peg angles upwards and there's a black plastic ring protecting the rack Photo 6 - UHMW plastic I placed underneath the HulkFit weight holder Photo 7 - HulkFit weight holder and how straight/angled slightly down the weight holder is ... show more

These fit my cage perfectly and are lined with felt to protect the cage's uprights. They are a great addition for getting plates off the floor without adding another piece of equipment to take up floor space.
