I like lifting weights at the gym, but I would always hurt my neck/shoulders area when doing squats with weights on. This changed my workout game completely! I was able to lift more weight and my back wasn’t bruised after working out anymore. It was pretty easy to set up and it didn’t move that much. It definitely still moves a little bit, but it all depends on your set up and how tight you make it. I had to ask my husband for his help and it worked just fine for me! Love the pad as it’s very soft, easy to put on the bar, and is comfortable. The Velcro straps that are suppose to hold the pad tightly to the bar is kinda cheap feeling and they’re so hard to keep up with since they’re not attached to the pad. I’m having to rummage through my bag each time I use it unless I remember to put them in a smaller pocket on the bag when I’m finished. Overall good product though. ... show more

Saw girls at the gym using these and I realized ouch that bar hurts without padding.. I saw some people using yoga mats.. folding them up which I think is a hassle so this will def come in handy

I use this for the smith squat machine -- I'm only starting out so just squatting 70 lbs -- and it's great. I don't even need the straps b/c the pad fits around the bar easily, but when it does start to wear in the future, the straps are easy velcro on/off. I feel like this is a quality pad--it's way better than what's available at my gym due to overuse and other people's gross sweat...totally worth the under $10. ... show more
