This is a great little saw. It is sharp and the right size for cutting smaller branches. The function and lock worked well. I used it for several hours trimming three large Crepe Myrtle trees with small to medium sized limbs, it quickly cut through them and later into smaller lengths. Crepe Myrtles are a softer wood and believe it will do well on harder woods too. I plan on taking it camping. I like the size for handiness and it locks in place firmly. The teeth are sharp and has worked well around the yard so far! My only dislike is that the back side of the blade (the non-sawing part) is actually kind of sharp due to it being cut into a squared edge. It is sharp enough that if you run your hand across it, it may slice you. I used a flap wheel (sanding block would work too) to round the edge a little and viola, it's gtg. I needed a small, portable saw for mountain bike trail building. This fits great in my backpack. Light weight. Super sharp blade. Cuts 2"-3" trees and limbs really well. I got the 8" curved blade and I really like it. I also like that it locks closed (and open) so no risk of opening and damaging my pack (or me). The plastic handle is kinda cheap, but it feels good in your hand and I haven't had problems with it slipping. Certainly a great value for the price. ... show more

Folds Easily! Super sharp. Feels light in the hand, but it’s very sturdy. Great size for any size hand, and easy to fold and store almost anywhere. I was able to prune some overgrown shrubs easily and quickly.
