I had purchased 2 other units that were about $35 dollars less that state it’s as powerful as this pump. That’s a lie! They were not even close to the GPM they were rated for. I sent them back for a refund. THIS pumps works super quiet and pumps like no other. I had the exact same pump for over a year but left it outside in the freezing cold one night. It cracked something inside the pump and stopped working. That was my fault, I should have brought it inside that night and paid the price. I tried going cheaper to save a few bucks, and realized why this one is priced the way it is. It’s worth every cent! I fill a 100 gallon container everyday with this pump. It’s never let me down. The pump appears to be of good quality construction. not noisy. I was pulling water from a well and the water was down about 15 feet so I didn't push it on the suction side. I ran 2 sprinklers on the end of a 100 foot hose and it worked pretty good as far as the water pressure (not great but ok) I am certain, they where the irrigation type sprinklers. I tried three but the pressure dropped enough they did not rotate. Don't worry about the person that showed the water blowing out of the pump he was using it wrong. This pump has no pressure switch to stop when it reaches a certain pressure (ones with tanks do) so if the pump is running water needs to flow, no spicket shutting off the water. ... show more

    • Great pump, but developed pinhole leaks in the stainless steel pump housing in 8 months.

These pumps are very efficient and have great pressure capability. I installed this for domestic water pump that was pumping very soft and non-mineral water. 8 months after install, the stainless steel housing of the pump suction side developed pinhole leaks on the bottom of the pump housing, causing the pump to loose prime over time due to sucking air in the pinholes. I installed this pump with a downstream check valve to prevent the housing from being pressurized after the pump shuts off so the leaks was a nuisance (except for the loss of prime) instead of a major leak. Attempting to get some action from the seller since this is within the 1 year warranty, I'll report back on how this goes. Update: After contacting the supplier, they have been very responsive and are sending a replacement pump, very pleased with the response. Upgraded rating to 4 stars. Second update: After providing them with pictures showing the leaks, they send me a new pump, which I received within 5 days of my initial contact with them. Great customer service!!! ... show more

We bought this pump to use for irrigation on a 5 acre pasture with a small pond. The pond is at one end of the pasture. We used 1" helix PVC with a foot valve for the suction and standard garden hose with 3 sprinkler heads. We began at the pond end a few days ago, and tonight we added more garden hose for a total of 575 feet with sprinklers at 575, 475 and 375 and this pump pushed enough water to run the sprinklers. That far they weren't as strong as they were closer to the pump, but it was still enough pressure to shoot water in a 60' circle. We are very impressed!     • No Warranty. No Parts Available. Incompatible Thread Types for fittings.

In my travels I see these Chinese pumps sold all over the world and have owned this specific pump almost a year connected to a 3600 gallon Rainwater Cistern that is used for irrigation. THE GOOD. 1) With an attached pressure regulator to a on/off switch, I can regulate pressure up to 65 max psi. I can pump 225/gal hour at 45psi to support 6 simultaneous sprinkler heads for up to 800 sq.ft coverage. Low Noise. THE BAD: 1) No Warranty. NO PARTS. Cannot Contact Seller or Manufacturer. Web Site is fake. No Customer Service. 2) Power cord undersized for current load. Cord size measures not quite 16 guage (17 guage). Pump draws 9 amps. The factory cord will likely not last more than a year before starting to overheat the motor. Before installing my pump, I replaced the factory cord with a 14 guage power cord designed for 12 amps. I found this design flaw (undersized power cords) common with pumps from China. 3) Pipe fittings and pump case fittings are NOT NPT (Tapered Thread). They are NPS (Straight Thread). NPS requires a flange, o-ring, or washer to seal. I read numerous complaints about leaks, especially leaks at the head. The nuts inside the cover for small fittings is not 100% sealed to the cover. Threads are NPS. You must use a flange or o-ring to seal against the outside of the cover and compress the cover to the nut. This is a very common problem with this thin walled stamped Stainless Steel head design.. The 1" NPS output is going to require a lot of sealant and torque to seal to an NPT pipe. AGAIN, NPT and NPS are incompatible. Difficult to seal. 4) Poor Assembly. Pump cover Allen head screws were not evenly torqued. Cover leaked. This was easily corrected by loosening all nuts and slowly retightening to a snug fit in an even cross hatch fashion. 5) NO PARTS available. Impeller and Diffuser inside pump are inexpensive plastic and would be very easy to replace if they became distorted from heat over time or in case a low water switch fails and they overheated or cracked from freezing, which happened to me in Texas Feb 2021 with loos of power for a heat lamp. I cannot order a replacement part. The inexpensive list price of this pump is bait. I don't have the time to deal with issues like this. It is just not worth it. MB - Austin, TX ... show more

I have a cistern that has great ground water source and I have one of my downspouts that drains in it also. Nice cheap water to water my landscaping and trees with. First time using it I watered fir a little over two hours and no issues whatsoever. Very quiet. Mine has a vertical draw of twenty feet and it is hooked to 200 ft of hose. Don’t forget to prime the pump and keep it covered from rain. Love the pump and it saves it price in savings on rural water. No regrets with this one. ... show more

Great for emptying rain barrels! Easy to use. Works well. High pressure on the output—good for standard garden hoses, nozzles, sprinklers, but I blew out a soaker hose. That was on me though—pump works exactly as described and as needed.
