  • HBS24-12A hot water recirculating pump (maintenance-free) was designed to be installed on the backwater pipe to the water heater. Built-in thermostat. Maintenance-free.3/4" NPT. NSF certified. Lead free grade copper pump body. Safe for drinking water. With 10 ft cord and easy to install. Max. liquid temperature is 158 F(70C).
  • Can work with tank less and tanked water heater. Super energy saving application recommendation: Set the pump in manual mode. Start the pump by push remote control middle button. The pipe water will reach the setting temperature in few minutes. And then the pump will shut off in 60 minutes. There will be no 60 minutes extension if you start the pump by the pump HAND button. Care your water heater (Longer life no more frequent start). Save gas, save water.
  • Advanced high speed recirculating pump. High flow (6.6GPM/396GPH max) and high lift (39.3ft max). It only takes a few minutes from turning on the pump until the hot water in the pipe reaches the set temperature. Advanced permanent magnet brushless 24v DC motor makes the pump more safe, more powerful and more durable. Super quiet pump and you almost cant hear the pump running voice. Up to 10% of your water bill will be saved. Instant hot water when you need it. No more water wasted in waiting.
  • Built in check valve. The pump default temperature is 38 C off and 33 C on. When the water temperature in pump is below 33 C (91.4F), the pump will push the cold water back to the water heater. As the temperature hits 38 C(100.4F), the pump will shut off automatically. Remote controller was used to set higher or lower water temperature (From 32 to 42 C ). This remote controller is not included in this package and needs to be purchased separately.
  • Two advanced built in high accurate temperature sensors (One to measure the pipe water temperature and the other one to measure pump ambient air temperature). Protect your pipe from freezing. Make your installation easier. Save your time (One installation position). To avoid any water leaking, please make sure the plastic washers were not damaged and were installed correctly. Max. liquid temperature is 158 F(70C).

    • Never turns on when temp is low

I installed this pump to replace another brand and it works great if you press the button. However when the water in the hot water return pipe cools the pump does not turn on automatically like it is supposed to. I contacted support their answer was unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. That was all they had. So I am returning it and putting in a reliable pump from Watts or Grundfos (I have owned both of those brands and they are worth the higher price). Also the fact that you can't control the temp unless you buy a remote separately is BS. Basically you can control 2 out of 3 things (speed and mode) out of the box and have to pay more to control the 3rd thing (temp). ... show more

    • Leaked until bought different hardware to connect it.

Still have not been able to successfully get it installed and working. After installing it, I found that one of the “T” pieces leaks badly. Yes I double checked that the o ring was installed. I tried a different one and even tried using two. The problem is that it does not leak from the o ring, but from the junction where it spins. After two trips to two different hardware stores, I can not find a replacement. I even spent $60 on various parts to try and make something else work. I will look again tomorrow at one more store and if I can’t find somethIng I will return it. Update: After purchasing some different hardware to fix the leak, it is working great. I also purchased the wireless remote and leave it in manual mode. Pressing the button, it takes a little over a minute until it gets to temp. I did have to get very creative with different parts and hoses to make it work. ... show more

This pump was easy to install. It was more impressive getting water to every fixture then I thought. I just do not know where to purchase the remote control? It did not come with the box. I cannot find out how to get the remote control. No literature on how to get the remote control.

This product is terrible,caused alot of noise in the pipes. Wasted a lot of time and money. Confirmed by plumbers the problem is this pump.
