I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction of this product and this seller. The product is not as advertised! The safe I purchased was to be of high quality, waterproof and fireproof. None of this is true. The safe has no fireproof qualities, loose fitting doors and open mounting holes void of any waterproof features. The electronic lock and LED keypad doesn’t work for all advertised features. I’ve written twice to the seller without response. The product I purchased is simply not what it was described to be. There are a lot of choices for this size safe so it's hard to decide. I compared many and this one is fine.....now. I had a difficult time setting the pass code as the directions weren't exactly clear about the final step. The company doesn't seem to have a site for questions as you are advised to e-mail, which I did. That was a couple of weeks ago and I did not receive a response. After several days of trial and error I did get the number set and all is now well. Just to clarify, I sent the directions to my sister, a mathematician and a friend who is in banking. decent safe for the money. not fireproof, so you need a fireproof bag if you are worried about fire getting your documents. I doubt its very water tight, but if its just a sprinkler system or something similar it should be o.k.
