  • Super fun and well built
Color: Black Yellow Brushless Size: 1:16 Scale
I got this for Christmas. I live in Michigan and so far since I have had the car we have had snow, rain, sunny days and freezing rain. I also have a 12 year old German Shepherd who loves RC cars. So I have driven it in the rain and snow, over ice, grass, pavement, puddles, etc. The ability to drive this in the wet conditions has been awesome. My dog can no longer run, but she still gets super excited to go outside and play with it. She kind of trots behind it the best she can and tries to nip at it when it goes around her. The car has been very stable while driving. We have gentle sloped curbs around my house and it handles them like a champ. I did hit a tree once at a fairly good clip and it chipped off part of the body shell. That is typical with any RC car. Driving it on icy pavement is a hoot. Spinouts, doughnuts, drifting, you name it. The 4wd. The run time is stellar and longer than my old dog can handle. *** Update *** I have had it almost 2 months and use it close to an hour everyday. The batteries that come with it are now shot. I didn't expect much from them. I purchased the following battery along with a velcro strap to hold it in. This gives a good solid hour of play time. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PZ7MWNM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have abused the snot out of it and it has held up great. one of the tires comes off from time to time and needs to be glued on, but I have put a good 40-50 hours on the thing. Count me impressed. Edit #2 (3/21/2020) Added some pictures of the car. 1) shows the updated battery with a voltage meter along with a Velcro strap to hold the battery in place 2) show the 3d printed block I made to fit in the battery slot. Attached with double sided tape. 3) I have abused the wheels a lot. Hit the curbs many times. Ended up having to re-glue all of the tires to the rims. Still runs great 4) at some point on of the spring holders came off. Seems to work fine without it. 5) Shows my stripped pinion gear next to the spur gear. The brass spur gear can only take so much abuse. You will need a 1.5 mm hex key to remove the set screw holding on the pinion gear. My set screw was rounded out, so I couldn't remove it the traditional way. Ended up drilling it out. So essentially I have disassembled almost all of it to make the repairs. Disassembly is fairly easy to do. I recommend getting ziplock bags to put screws in and label them. That way you won't lose them and you will know where they go. I do not baby this car in any way shape or form. It's been driven through snow, on ice, through puddles, deep grass, on the street and side walks, Parts are going to break on it. It is not to hard to replace parts on it. Do I still rate it 5 stars? Absolutely. With the sheer amount of abuse I have given it and to only need some miner repairs, I'd say it is really good. Perhaps I should do a video showing how to take it apart and put it back together. Edit #3 08/28/2020 Repairs so far. first off. I now order parts from china. much cheaper, but shipping is two months. google Q903 parts and you should find a few sites that sell them. 1) Replaced the ESC a couple of times. Getting it wet will corrode it. 2) Tires. I completely wore them out. 3) Pinion gear. The brass one wears out really fast. I use a steal one now. (Robinson Racing 1114). If you get this one, make sure you use medium strength thread locker or the grub screw will come out. 4) Drive shaft. The spur gear wears out. It is made of super cheap metal. 5) Steering servo. 6) front and back differentials 7) rear drive shaft/dog bone. It didn't break, I just lost it. 8) wheel hub pin. Be careful replacing the wheel. Those little things can fall out and get lost... speaking from experience. 9) Battery. The two batteries that come with it are basically junk. The one I list above is far far better. ... show more

  • lil Bad Ass!!
Color: Yellow Teal Brushless Size: 1:16 Scale
I took it out this morning for the first time and was very impressed.. I like that you can adjust the steering for quick cornering or tighten it up (on the controller) for the long fast straightaways.. it is very quick and pretty fast. Suspension is pretty good, not great.. Overall, I give it 👍👍 Well worth the money.. ... show more

  • Higher quality
Color: Black Yellow Brushless Size: 1:16 Scale
This is a great beginner RC truck. One of my friends who has been racing them for years recommended this and I got it on sale. So far it is plenty fast and I've been driving it on the slow mode. Very durable all the parts are a little bit higher quality for a beginner it's great It's actually going to get you hooked because it's such good quality for the money. The only problem I've had with it is that I lose the little cotter pins that hold the body on because I take these huge jumps and crash a lot. And this thing is fast even in slow speed it's hard to control You don't need to upgrade anything and if you drive it reasonably safe it will probably last a while. And it looks like parts for it or not that expensive so I highly recommend this especially if you're starting out. Actually this is a good one all the way around even if you're already into these this is a fun one I wish it was a little bigger but I may get a bigger one later. A++ quick shipping and I've heard their customer service is the best. Comes with everything you need. But if you want to buy a bag for it I recommend buying a cheap tool bag.The bags that are designed for RC cars are really thin and cheap and cost a lot. I bought a 18-in Craftsman tool bag and it was under 20 bucks and holds the car and all the stuff perfect. Have fun!!!!!!! ... show more

  • Nice low price RTR fast vehicle at first time testing.
Color: Yellow Teal Brushless Size: 1:16 Scale
My first RC model purchase was 25 years ago it was a team associated rc10 with the gold tub and clear body you had to paint yoursel and I assembled it myself from every gear in the transmission to putting the correct oil in the shocks that I wanted for the stiffness and i loved it There is nothing like assembling your own rc car and getting to know it inside and out. If i ever had a son i would have done that to his first real car.Taking it apart and making him reassemble it to have the chance to get to know all about his csr and really appreciate it.But as of right now kit kit cars are way past my budget .This vehicle out of the box the cheapness of the transmitter just made me cringe but once I pulled the vehicle out I was pleasantly surprised from how wel.l it looked made and looked very tough. I charge the batteries quick tested and make sure everything works it is way too fast to keep going in a confined space so I'm eager to see how well it will last out in the open. Now this vehicle looks like it might be able to Source replacement parts once they do break cuz it looks very serviceable. This vehicle at first glance looks like I can oil the shocks but you can't but there are spaces to add extra shocks which I like. It also looks like you can modify the body mounts you can raise or lower it to make it a better stance as you see fit. I am notorious for modifying my little Hobbies where a little cut here and there and I can make the vehicle higher for better ground clearance which I've been studying but we'll see if that can happen. Overall it looks very well built with the smallest amount of use of cheap parts but still too much plastic. My limited knowledge can't identify if it is regular plastic or so kind on reinforced plastic. The axle shafts and drive shaft look like some kind of metal which eases some of my concern. After some use I will do some mods if I can, especially recharging the batteries without having to remove them every time. Nor recommend if batteries get hot too often. This is not a toy for children but for teens wanting to get into to hobby for the first time or adults who just want to revisit their teenage past. Besides the pathetically looking transmitter this will be a keeper for me just as long the replacement parts are not hard to find and order. Correction, the shocks are oil filled. You can change the oil grade. Thick or thin to adjust the dampening as you like. I also started to find ways to adjust ride height to better clear obstacles. More corrections migh be coming as I do more experimts. I've Spent more time with this car on the road and the trails. Behind my place. Update- my next mission is to keep this vehicle off its roof. The provided wheelie bars can only do so much. Since the speed is very fast I plan to make it more bottom heavy. This idea is not for beginner so be very aware on what you are planning and please know your r/c model inside and out. The complete breakdown comes in the manual. Do not let the price fool ,you did not buy a cheap little RC car toy. I myself am an actual car mechanic and when I have customers come in with problems I just want to yell ( believe me I don't do this but I just want to) R.T.F.O.M. Which stand for Read The Freaking Owners Manual. One last thing it getting rid of the front lights which are battery killers no matter how much power they use. And add some weight to the front bumper, that might help keep the buggy off its roof. Maybe more updates to come unless everybody has had enough of me.ha ha ... show more
