Nice pads to protect my car’s roof
Color: 1 Set
These pads are a great alternative to using foam blocks when transporting a canoe on my car. The soft material of the roof rack pads is gentle on my equipment, ensuring that there are no scratches or damage to canoe or car during transport. This extra level of protection is a significant plus for mai
ntaining the condition of my gear and vehicle. I already have some Thule load straps for tie down so I didn’t need the straps but I did want something versatile to lift the boat off my roof. The pads can be used for any structured carrier, paddle board, kayak, etc. as well. They can be used with or without a crossbar, which I needed for my older vehicle, which has none. They are non-slip on the bottom so I don’t need an additional rubber mat underneath to prevent it from sliding. The pads feel well made and able to withstand all types of weather. I like how easy they are to install, just space them out on top of my car, put the load on top and strap it down. Voila, instant roof rail. I can’t attest to the how well the tie down straps function but I really like the rails.

I got a rental car that unfortunately didn’t have a roof rack. Luckily I got one of these just in case and it ended up working even for my 10 footer. The fasteners work really well just don’t forget to tire off your loose ends just in case. By far recommend this product 🤙

These soft cargo pads worked alright this past weekend carrying a canoe. With them attached there were no scratches to the roof of the car. It does take a minute to install though.

We installed the racks on to the car and that part was super easy. Unfortunately I pressed on one of the clips and it broke. So I will have to get different carabiner clips for it.

Our truck broke, so only my son's new automobile runs. He wanted to carry the kayak to the lake but didn't know how. I found some soft pads online that go on top of the car without scratching or damaging it. The soft pads have a non-slip bottom, are sturdy, weatherproof, and easy to install. These ar
e affordable, well-made, and function nicely, so my son can play at the lake as he wanted.

I bought this for my dad for his birthday, as he needed a kayak holder for his car. He called me and told me that it took a little figuring out at first, but he used it for the first time to bring his kayak . He said it works great!!!! This is a perfect buy, and was a perfect fit for for his Ford esc
ape.

This is the second time I have used this for my kayak and the quick loop straps fell apart while going down the highway and I almost lost my kayak down the highway.

Please save your self a headache and buy another soft rack instead of this one. This does not include the proper things to mount it on your car, and I lasted days confused on why I could not figure it out. Till I ordered another one from a different brand , which was installed in no more than 10 minu
tes. Please save yourself and buy another one, anything besides this brand and make sure its 40+ USD. I am returning this tommorow.

I got this a few months ago but finally used it yesterday. Went on super easy but where straps are attached tore when tightening, and it wasn’t even tight yet. Lucky I had other tie downs to use. It’s too late to return so I’ll have to buy another one, but a different brand. If you use this, please u
se other tie downs or your kayak or paddle board will sure come off at some point.

Foam pads are weak and snapped under the weight of a standard paddle kayak. Straps came dry rotted, buckles come loose and kayak comes loose on the top of car even when strapped down tight with additional ratchet straps (standard straps did not do the trick the first time, nearly lost my kayak on the
road). Also the pouches on top of the foam pads that you can thread the straps through came apart the second time we used it. I figured it was user error the first time so I had a friend who works on kayaks and is really capable assist me the next time and same issues plus the pouch breakage. Absolute garbage, subpar product. Waste of money and honestly a risk. Won’t initiate a return because I already used so that wouldn’t be right, but I really regret spending money on this product at all.

The kit didn't come with everything it was supposed to. There were supposed to be two eight foot tie down straps included but the kit I received didn't have any.

The cinch that holds the unit on the roof doesn't get tight, the cinch that holds the kayak on broke, and the kayak was still flopping around on the roof. I only rated one star because zero isn't an option.

Strap Broke While Driving
Color: 1 Set
One of the straps broke on the very first use while I was driving to vacation. Luckily I had attached additional straps of my own or I would have lost all of my family’s belongings off the roof of my car on the highway.
