  • Works as it's supposed to. Very clearly a 150 dollar rack tho
Color: Ski Roof Rack
Fit on my 2012 WRX crossbars no problem. Fits well and holds my snowboard fine. The locks are kind of goofy, and would be super easy to drill out. But any smart criminal would just unscrew the wing nuts and steal the whole thing. I bought it to haul my boards 10-20 times a season, and it will do that well. Everyone complaining about the buttons being too tight just need to press down on the mechanism when pushing the buttons. Would buy again, but if I used it constantly I would buy name brand ... show more

  • Missing pieces and no instructions
Color: Ski Roof Rack
When the product arrived the hardware was in a supermarket clear bag. It seems to be a return item that was just repackaged. When I laid out all the hardware I couldn't find the instruction sheet, so I had to figure out how to attach the rack. The first rack was easy to figure out and install. When I went to put on the second rack I noticed I was missing 2 of the plastic wingnut bold that secure the rack. They are not something you can switch out or replace. I also notice that I never received keys to unlock the racks. This is the first time I needed to return an item due to missing parts. ... show more

  • Amazing for the money!
Color: Ski Roof Rack
Really nice considering the other more expensive name brands were double or triple The cost. Last time we went skiing, the family noticed we had them in common how expensive they were and they spent $300+ dollars… I told them ours were under $100 and they were shocked. The only downside is, they are a little bit more Time consuming to install… ... show more

  • Hard to lock and broke after 6 uses
Color: Ski Roof Rack
The one good thing was that they were relatively easy to install on our roof. After that it got bad - it was extremely hard to close with a few skis in it (way too tight, even for just one pair of skis) and similarly to open (the button to press was impossible to press to open by hand, something hard had to be used to bang against it to make it move). After using it with extreme difficulty a few times, the little key for the lock first bent and then broke off in the lock completely. After two trips to the mountains, we can't use it anymore... ... show more

  • Worked perfect all season
Color: Ski Roof Rack
I definitely recommend these universal snowboard racks. Some people complain about the wing nuts that are used to secure the racks to your crossbars but I think they are very covenant. No tools are required which makes it simple to take the racks off after a long day. Finger tight and they have never loosened up. Others complain about having to keep the key in to open an close the rack but that's a non issue for me. Once you figure out how to place one hand on the top of the rack and button at the same time and the other on top of that hand, opening and closing is a breeze. Well worth the price. I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

  • Not seamless but can make it work
Color: Ski Roof Rack
Amazon mentioned it was an often returned product. Still I gave it a shot. The pro is.. its easy to install. I paired it with the amazon basics cross bar. Its good price. The con is.. - Locking system : The racks dont function similar when skis are loaded. One was easy to lock and unlock. The other was difficult. The trick was to press the button with 1 hand so the hook is off the latch. Then exert force on the top of the rack with the other hand. With this, cpl seconds to close. Without discovering that, it took a gazillion minutes to lock and frustration. - Also, some say the key wouldn't come off when in unlock position. It was like that for me but later on it came off on either lock or unlock position. - Wind noise is there but i guess its unavoidable with ski racks in general. ... show more

  • Great Value for Money
Color: Ski Roof Rack
Value for money this is a great choice. I was somewhat skeptical of what I would get at this price-point. I have used a well known Y-company for years, and love their products. With our new (Prinsu) roof rack I needed a different mounting bracket than I could find. I rolled the dice on these racks, and have been happy. The only drawback is that there is no real security for the mounts themselves, you can simply use your bare hands to unscrew the brackets. There is a simple solution to require tools, and that is some nylon threaded nuts. This at least forces someone to have tools. I spent maybe $4 to get 8 nylon threaded nuts for all the brackets. Value for money these racks have been great so far. We will have to see if they last as long as my previous ones, but I have been pleased so far. ... show more

  • 5 skis on an OEM crossbar no problem
Color: Ski Roof Rack
This can be a little bit difficult to close when you have several skis on the rack because the lock doesn’t line up. It takes some force, but I got it closed and I locked it. It seems pretty good. Reasonable value for money. The lock is a bit of a joke because it just uses regular screws to attach the rack. ... show more
