  • Best stairs I’ve tried!!
Size: Large
So the stairs I was previously using for my dogs were no longer working well. My older one isn’t as strong as she used to be and I’m pretty sure has arthritis. She had gotten to where she would no longer use the stairs and would wake me up in the middle of the night to pick her up. Well several times a night of this and I was ready to find a solution. So the first stairs I tried for them was horrible. The younger used them but I could hear that he bangs his legs or something on the way up and the older one...well she was terrified when I tried to get her on there. They were made of plastic and just not the right fit for them. I thought they looked sturdy so I thought that would be good. But they were somewhat wobbly and didn’t feel secure. It was called ”Solvit PetSafe PupSTEP Plus Pet Stairs, Foldable Steps for Dogs and Cats, Best for Small to Medium Pets.” I returned those. Then I got this one in the mail and once I opened it and put it together (which took like 5 seconds, super easy) I knew they were going to work!!! Let me just say, they are amazing!!!! I ordered the large size because I wanted something that was pretty close to the top of my bed so the dogs wouldn’t be frightened. Both dogs took to them right away...a tad bit of hesitation from the older one but that’s to be expected with her. But after one try, she did it no problem. If she is able to use these stairs, any dog that’s somewhat fearful and anxious should have no problem. They work great. The foam is nice and firm yet soft enough to feel comfortable for them. Absolutely happy I purchased them. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend
Size: Large
These are great stairs! My dog has arthritis and loves to be on our bed, but it’s tall and it hurts him to jump on and off, so we decided to get him some stairs or a ramp. Many of the options we looked at were expensive and too large. I was apprehensive about these because they are foam, but it turns out that the foam is what I like best. The foam is sturdy and gives the dog a little “grip” when he is going up and down. And it doesn’t hurt me if I accidentally bump into them when I walk by. I also like that I can leave the top step off so there is more surface area as a “landing”. (See photos) We are very happy with our purchase. ... show more

  • Great price!
Size: Medium
About 18” tall. My bed is about 22” high so I have to pick up my little chihuahua - til now. The only “assembly” is placing the top sponge step into the fabric - then zip! My dog instantly used it. If you’re dog is nervous, place a treat on top of step. Overall, it’s soft, color looks great, and sturdy - primarily made of “sturdy” sponge. Not shaky nor made of plastic. ... show more

  • The Cadillac of Dog Stairs
Size: X-large
My Mom called them the cadillac of stairs when she saw them and she’s right. They’re firmer than any other foam stairs I’ve tried and so nice looking. They were so easy to put together and my dog loves them. I got the X-Large size bc my bed is really tall and most companies don’t even make them this tall. It seemed like a lot to pay $80 for dog stairs but they’re absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • After some training, it works!
Size: X-large
These work! My dog is 70ish pounds and was very hesitant at first. Well, he was simply not going to even try it. Very stubborn! He did not like it at all lol. We had to use treats and really push him to go up before he got a treat. About a month into doing this, he will use these steps now on his own. We slide it next to the backseat of our SUV and he goes up. He does get nervous, because it is a soft surface that flexes a little with each step. However, he is use to it now and it works. I do wish there were handles on each side to easily pick up and carry. That’s really the only down side. If I was going to perfect this item, I would add handles for the sides to easily carry AND I would make the top step a hard board so the dog can easily push off or spring off of something firm to get up in the backseat of the SUV easier. Although it works as is. The fabric can be unzipped if extra cleaning is needed. It seems to be very well made. I am impressed with the quality. I looked at buying a ramp, but those are too wide to fit inside the car door of my SUV. So freestanding steps really were my only option. I have ordered another one to push against my bed. I tried carrying from room to garage and vice versa, but without the handles it gets annoying. So I just bought another one. I have the XL and L. There is not much difference in the size of these two but the price difference is significant. You may only need the L for a bigger dog. Save yourself some money and get the L instead of the XL. Be patient, it will take some training and eventually your best friend should use it on their own. My dog is brilliant lol and super stubborn with tons of personality. He learns everything almost instantly. He rejected this for a while. Then one day we found him laying on the bed. That guy waited until we were not in the room begging him to go up the stairs and he was doing it all along by himself in private lol. It took about a month or so, but it works. Do not give up! ... show more

  • Good quality stable pet steps!
Size: X-large
I was a bit worried that my small dog would be afraid of these stairs. They are a bit scary for her her because they are a little steep- and the steps are not that wide. She got used to them however once I placed her bed at the landing and put the steps sideways against the bed, so that she would feel more secure with the bed on one side. I only wish that they were a bit wider for each step to give her more of a place to land. She did get used to them pretty quickly though with some encouragement and treats. Glad these are working out. They seem to be good quality and stable for my 17lb dog. Update: each step is about 7" inches deep so its not really enough for her to sit there- but plenty of room for her to climb up. ... show more
