This is a game changer for watering the garden and flowers. Our raised beds are about 30-40 feet from the nearest water valve. The path to it includes flowers, bushes, the deck leading to the front door, and a tree. Lots to maneuver around and a typical rubber hose doesn't make it easy. With the lightweight and flexible material, this hose is easy to unwind and maneuver especially if you wait to turn the water on until you've reached your primary destination. I got this because I wanted something durable, but lighter weight. So far it is working well. I docked one star under durability since it drips a bit around where it attaches to the faucet. But not enough for me to worry much. The lighter weight is the selling point for me.

I ordered 2 of these hoses. This is how one of these hoses were delivered after receiving an email that the hoses were undeliverable, you weren't kidding but it somehow made it to my front porch. I was told I would receive credit but haven't yet. I called customer service and it took a bit but I got credit for both hoses and got to keep the hose that was delivered. Great job customer service, you went above and beyond. This is a really good hose. The material is like a fireman's hose, it expands and contracts. I have had the flexible hoses that expand and they last a season if you are really lucky. They more often start failing after a month or two. The description on this one sounded perfect......kind of a hybrid....lighter by far than an old vinyl hose. . . but much more durable than the flexible hose. Guess what? They described it perfectly! And the connectors are the best quality that I have ever seen on a hose. ZERO leaking. I will update this after a few months but so far......I am loving it !I might add that the pressure through it is WAY better on my sprinkler than the flexible hose. I am a believer! ... show more

I've used one of these for several years, For storage, I gather it in ~6 foot long loops the way mountaineer belay lines are handled and hang it in the garage over several pegs to distribute the weight. Since it is not actually "coiled," it extends readily for use -- without having to be unsnarled from the gathering and endlessly flipped to make it lie straight. ... show more

I used this hose to clean gutters. It is great because it is so light, but there is the possibility of it kinking. the way I solved this was to use the 50ft version of this with a 100ft heavy duty non kink hose on the ground attached to the end. This allows the heavy hose to stay on the ground free of kinks while this hose comes up the ladder and around the roof with me. This ensures I won't have to get down off the ladder or roof to get a kink out. ... show more
