I wanted something that would hold my or my husband's weight and not fall apart in a few months. The chair came assembled and folded. The only thing we had to do was attach the cushions and drink holder. Although neither of us weigh anywhere near the 500lb threshold for this chair, it's obviously been desigbed with larger people in mind, and it's held up very well so far. I've been able to fall asleep and stay that way for hours comfortably in it. It's also at just the right price for anyone in the lounge chair market. What I love: • the locking mechanism that keeps the chair in the lounge position. • the cup and tablet/phone/remote holder. • It's durability. • Surprisingly comfortable. • Designed for outdoor use, but looks nice enough to be used indoors. • It came with a complimentary blind fold and ear plugs.
