This is a great kit. My Northwood Nash Travel Trailer came with a 20 watt solar panel and an additional port on the roof to add another panel. As the trailer was setup with and for ZAMP, I decided to just stick with Zamp...they aren't cheap, but the quality of Zamp controllers and panels is OUTSTANDING. Installing this panel was super easy and FAST! Took no time at all to plug it into the port and mount it on the roof. A little Dicor on the mounts where they meet the roof and we're up and running. My Travel Trailer has twin Group 27 AGM Deep Cycle 12volt batteries and I can leave it sitting for weeks with the TV and Stereo on Standby and my batteries are FULLY charged at all times, even when we have clouds! ... show more

This Zamp expansion kit is well constructed and comes with the necessary bracketing to install it. You will need a few stainless steel pan head wood/sheet metal screw to attach the brackets to your rv roof plus some Dicor sealant to ensure water tightness. This kit is plug and play if your rv is already equipped with a Zamp charger. This kit is a little pricey, but it is a quality kit.     • Easy to Install Expansion Kit
Great addition to our RV's existing Zamp solar kit. Easy to install. Brackets included in the kit fit both the Legacy and Obsidian panels. Some Amazon kits came with instructions for the old Legacy brackets which led to some confusion, thinking the wrong brackets were included. A quick email to Zamp and, oh yeah, these brackets will work fine. 340 watts on our roof seems to be sufficient for multiple days off grid with two 6 volt batteries. Great system. ... show more

Sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon, buyer beware! The solar panel was sold to me from a 3rd party which is (Keystone California). When I received it, I opened the box, which had no damage to the outside but in checking it, it had blemishes under the glass. I called a Zamp solar Tech who told me that these panels are sold as "B" rated panels and sold at half of the original price. With a "B" rating they are only warranted for 10 yrs. not the 25 yr. ... show more
