Features

  • Compact and Reliable - The 100W 12V Monocrystalline solar panel delivers a stable output of an average 500Wh of electricity per day (depending on sun availability). With its compact solar cell arrangement, this renogy 100w solar panel weighs only 14.1 lbs and is 8-10% lighter and smaller than conventional rigid solar panels.
  • Superior Quality and Material - All Renogy solar panels are made from 100% EL-tested Grade A+ solar cells to provide the highest power conversion efficiency and prolonged lifespan. This 100 watt solar panel is also equipped with PERC cells to deliver an excellent cell efficiency of 22%.
  • Advanced Solar Cell Tech and Panel Structure - Renogy solar panels adapted the newest 9 Bus-bars cell tech and Half-cell structure, allowing the full-size solar cell to be cut in half and closely arranged for space usage maximization. • Fantastic, pumps even in the shade.
Size: 50W Solar Panel
This is a great quality solar panel. I have had a few other small trickle panels and a cheap flexible plastic one (total waste of money) and I am really impressed with the power and quality of this panel. It is really too strong for a trickle panel, but i find I can put it in the shade and it works fine with less power and it will totally charge up a "dead" car battery in no time (paired with a cheap charge controller, made mobile safe by hot glue gunning wiring points). I bought a panel this strong because I got a great sale price on it. Very worth it. Small enough to be portable and easily moveable and will fit on my dash even and large enough to really kick ass, charge up a lead acid battery and all my 5 volt usb lights and devices. Great for camping. My only problem with this panel on the onset was that it came with Renology MC4 connectors attached and I had trouble deciding whether to buy more of those or rip off the MC4 connector and just convert to 12 volt automotive water proof connector I already had on hand. For my uses, I was better off without the MC4 (a waterproof rating not size rating) I decided, and I finally pried them off and converted to the 12 volt auto connector, but the psychological block really impacted my project. ... show more

  • Best price at $62 I have seen Nov 27th, 2024
Size: 100W Single Panel
Best price at $62 I have seen Nov 27th, 2024. I have seen some reviews where others have bought this same panel model at $50 but this is the best price I have bought at. They have worked great for me. I have never used any other solar panel so I can't compare. The best power out I have seen is 85 Watts per solar panel but I believe I could get just past 90 Watts if I change my arrangement to the best 100% best facing area but where I have them just works out for me. I am also using a Renogy MPPT charge controller with a few. I also have a cheaper brand MPPT charge controller and can see huge difference in power output with the same panels. I don't have enough experience to say Renogy MPPT charge controllers are the best, but I can say not all MPPT charge controllers are the same. I am still picking up alot with solar and believe just like anything else, one person can have a great experience while another has a bad experience with the same item. Check reviews and check your item as soon as you can to return if it doesn't work right. Go with what works for you. Where I live, power is cheap but I like having a medium sized emergency system. ... show more

  • Better than expected
Size: 100W 2-Pack Panels
As soon as I received the panel's I unboxed everything and set them in the sun to check if they worked. First things I noticed is they are built really well, and they sent me 24 volt panels and I ordered 12 volt so a big plus for me, 96 volts of power from an expected 48 so again a big plus in my favor (After ordering a total of 22 of these they are all producing more than 100W each unfocused and YES they are a good deal). Next I pointed them at the sun and was getting more than rated voltage when in a direct angle to the sun, and I got a reading of 24.5 volts DC on all but 1 which was 22.8 volts DC with them pointing unfocused; in an attempt to imitate the angle they would be in a stationary system on the roof. Of course my opinion may change if they don't work long term but right now I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Edit: It's been a few months now using these panels fully off grid. And I couldn't be happier. Yes I could have spent a lot more money and had fewer panels by buying 300+ watt panels but space wasn't a worry for us money is. We would have spent quite a bit more per watt buying the higher wattage panels. The important thing is each and every one of my Renogy solar panels produces more than the rated wattage under full sun. It isn't a lot but we get over 3200 watts total under full sun with 30 panels now. Which means there is over 200 watts higher than rated wattage total. Thats 2 panels worth. I call them our ghost panels. My opinion of these panels and the company couldn't get better. The PowMr 5000W CC/Inverter we are using can take 450V to the MPPT with a max of 500V 16 amps. Two arrays of 15 panels each at 13 amps is where we are now, thats about 250 V 6.5 amps per array. We are going to add more panels to reach the 450V 16A input potential. Right now we only use battery power under full sun if we use the dryer or microwave oven, everything else is powered between say 8:00 AM to 6:00PM by our panel array which are not focused and is a bit small yet. That includes recharging our battery bank, watching TV, coffee on, lighting and the fridge. If the dryer and AC are on at the same time we may see a small draw on the batteries around 1 or 2 amps when the dryers heating element is powered, which is intermittent. Right now we are fairly balanced. The panels run everything in the house pretty much during daytime including recharging batteries, and the batteries at night; which means the panels are producing all the electricity we use. Adding a few more panels will end using any battery power during a sunny day and adding panels to reach 450V max will probably accomplish that on a cloudy day. And thats the last thing I want to mention. Even though power production does depend on how much light is blocked by clouds or shadows, they do produce power on overcast days. A thin layer of clouds won't appear to make much difference and even on a day with a few rain clouds around we will have power coming from the panels. So my rating is 100% 5 Stars and I'd add another 5 if I could. The panel that produced 22 volts was made wrong. One of the cells isn't connected and what looks like the solder strip is laying across the neighboring cell face. Still can't complain I purchased 12V panels. ... show more
