  • Zalman STC7 thermal paste offers great value for its price
Size: STC 7
The Zalman STC7 thermal paste is a solid choice for anyone looking to improve their CPU or GPU cooling efficiency. Its high thermal conductivity ensures excellent heat transfer between the processor and the heatsink, which helps in maintaining lower temperatures during intensive tasks. The paste's consistency is easy to apply, spreading evenly without being too runny or too thick. One of the standout features of the Zalman STC7 is its long-lasting performance. Users have reported stable thermal performance over extended periods, indicating that it doesn't dry out or degrade quickly. However, it's important to note that while it performs admirably, it might not be the absolute top choice for extreme overclocking compared to some premium alternatives. ... show more

  • got 3 cpus out of the little tube, works great and temps are constant and where they should be.
Size: STC 8
I got 3 full size pc cpus thermal pasted with the small tube and it works as well as can be expected. I have a Ryzen 5600 and playing games like battlefield 5 on max settings it gets up to 72 degrees C. thermal paste got cooked due to a cpu malfunction that started to arc and caused some problems and pretty much exploded. but had a few cpus to do and my old setup that died got a new cpu did my friends cpu and replaced the cpu in my brothers pc. they are all doing good and all has been well so far so no complaints. the paste was easy to apply and wasn't excessively sticky like some are. was very pleasant and didn't have that bad of a smell to it either. was a very pleasant thing in a bad situation of having to replace a few cpus. ... show more

  • Great Paste
Size: STC 9
Note that there are 3 variations of paste available, STC 7(4grams), STC 8(1.5grams) and STC 9 (4grams). The STC 8 is a lot smaller tube. Presumably the STC 9 has the best thermal conductivity at 9.1 W/m-k. In theory people should be buying that for the small price difference and larger quantity. Overall, no complaints about this thermal paste, large quantity, easy to spread, seems to transfer heat. The STC 9 also comes with a spreader. Ingredients in the STC 9 are Silicone Oil, Alumina, Aluminum, Zinc Oxide. As far as I can tell this looks similar to the Tech Ingredients DIY thermal paste that gets rave reviews online. Find Tech Ingredients “Make our Best Thermal Paste…” video on YouTube and it has a formula link in the description. Then search for other reviews and videos online about that paste, if interested. No reason not to but the STC 9 paste. Can’t go wrong. UPDATE: Paste worked great on my i5-4690K CPU however it apparently did not like the higher temperatures of my GTX960 GPU or my new 12700K CPU. The pump-out on the GTX960 was about a month, before needing a repaste, and the 12700K just a week or so. ... show more

  • Very small tube but high wuakity
Size: STC 8
The ad states it’s only 1.5g but we didn’t realize how small that actually is until it arrived! Luckily we only needed a little bit so that worked fine, but it was a little pricey for the amount. It is the higher quality silver colored formula that conducts heat better than the white formula does, so that was a plus! -Jen ... show more

  • Been working like a champ
Size: STC 7
So I purchased this thermal paste because I was upgrading both of my Lenovos Thinkpad T430 and Thinkcenter M93 each from a dual core processor to a quad core processor. And after getting the appropriate processors for each device the thermal paste was applied and has been working great since then.

  • So far so good
Size: STC 7
Background... I've built custom PC's since the late 90s and I've mainly used either the grease packet that came with the heatsink or bought a tube of Arctic silver. This is my first time deviating because I saw this was a new product on Amazon and the price was right and I've used heatsink from zalman in the past. I laid this down on an old core 2 duo rebuild for a friend. Went down pretty smooth with a razor blade like I always use. Stock cooler dropped on and tightened. System booted up stable and left it running for a couple days straight to load the OS and updates etc. No issues. Will use again when I do my own system. ... show more

  • It's thermal paste
Size: STC 8
Ended up not using it only because cooler I purchased came with some. But I'll keep it around just in case.

  • Very good for the price
Size: STC 8
My Ryzen 5 non-overclocked 2600 was hovering at 50c plus idle. The Ryzen 5 2600 has a rating of 65w tdp, so I don't understand why it runs so hot. I bought this thermal paste along with a 30 dollars cpu cooler. Now my cpu temp is around 40c idle and 60c gaming. I also used it on another computer, and that one dropped around 6c idle. ... show more
