  • Great alternative to paste
Size: 38 x 38 x 0,2 mm
I bought a 5700X3D on prime day sale and figured I would replace my paste with a forever solution since it would be the last time I swap out anything processor wise. If I want a better computer I'll need to upgrade the whole system to accommodate AM5 so this will be the last time I do anything to this computer. I like Thermal Grizzly and this product caught my eye for it's long term usability. No need to worry about paste dry out or pump out that necessities routine maintenance and removal of the cooler to ensure optimal performance. Installation was easy and thermals are pretty good. I will absolutely be using this on my next build. ... show more

  • No more messy paste
Size: 33 x 33 x 0,2 mm
I hate the mess that comes with installing CPU's on motherboards. The paste is very messy to clean up and it does not last for years, you should tear down and re-paste every so often. The downside is cost, paste is cheap, plus these are fragile, you can tear it if you are not careful. I carefully grabbed it by the corner with a tweezers and placed it on the CPU before installing the cooler on top. All went well for me, and my thermals are as good or better than when I had used paste. The computer I used it on is a server I built with a Linux OS and I don't expect there to be any changes to the hardware for years. The last server I built lasted seven years, and I expect this one to last that long as well, running 24x7 the whole time. This is the first time using KryoSheet, I thought I would give it a try, especially since it is known to last a very long time without drying up and and without degraded performance over time. ... show more

  • I never want to deal with cpu paste again
Size: 38 x 38 x 0,2 mm
I love these things. Downsides first: * They're a little delicate, so you need to be careful when moving them. * They're a little fiddly to keep on the cpu die as you place the cooler down. * I suspect I'm losing around 1 degree C over a high quality paste. * They're more expensive than a high quality paste. But the upsides are great: * No dryout. Once I install it, I don't ever have to worry about it again. It just works for years and years at a time. * I can easily reseat the cooler or replace the CPU/Cooler without making a mess or needing to reapply paste. * I can't really mess up and drip paste somewhere it's not supposed to be. In short, if you're chasing every last ounce of performance, grab a high quality paste and reapply every couple years. But if you want something that you can install and never have to care about again, grab a pad. I've been using pads in my builds for years, and these are the highest quality pads I've come across. ... show more

  • 100% Worth it. If your careful.
Size: 38 x 38 x 0,2 mm
Any reviews complaining about how fragile and easily damaged these pads are from clumsy impatient people who can not be bother to slow down and take their time in order to use it properly. I had no issues handling and applying this pad with no damage and used the method of using the absolute teeniest tiniest little dot of thermal paste on each corner with a light tap in order to keep the pad in place while delicately lowering and screwing down a massive cpu air cooler with zero issue. Take your time, take it slow, and do it right the first. As for performance and ease of use. i can safetly say i will never use thermal paste again as long as i can get these as it surprisingly dropped all of my temps and average temps on a 5950x by around 5c. Not much change on the minimum temps but i am very happy to not have this cpu spike as much into the red and happily remain in the mid 70 to low 80's under heavy load with the benefit of not having a massive mess of paste to clean just to repaste it again if anything is wrong and risk damaging the cpu pins or socket since certain paste's love to act like glue even when the cpu is hot and refuse to let the cpu go which results in you ripping the cpu out of the socket because the paste fused it to the cooler which is just another step to worry about trying to pull them apart without any damage. This pad is a absolute life saver for cleanup as well as reducing temps, even if the temp reduction is not by very much if any for the benefit of not having to use paste or dismantle your system again for quite some time. The instructions also recommend that you really should replace it after use rather than reuse it due to damage from the first initial install and i dont mind that since i will rarely be taking my systems apart, and if i do then i will gladly buy another pad or two when the time comes for me to take it apart, rather than risk any issue. Yes they are pricey but in my opinion they are extremely worth it for those who will rarely remove their cpu cooler for long periods of time and want a simple no mess solution that matches or even outperforms paste (in my case) if your lucky, etc. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • VERY fragile, but a great product.
Size: 33 x 33 x 0,2 mm
Handle this thing carefully. No, more carefully than that. No, I don't think you get it, you need kid gloves, warning labels, and very soft tweezers. There we go, nice and careful... Seriously, this product just suffers more than anything from being super fragile and having nothing for handling instructions. It's amazing for long term use cases, for testing various coolers, and the thermals are honestly on-par with the best pastes that I've tried, but easily splits and cracks if you don't know how to handle it. Since it's conductive, I'd HIGHLY recommend using some form of shield / gasket / guard / ILM replacement to prevent any risk of it touching anything it shouldn't, especially on AM5 where the chip has sensitive parts exposed. For the enthusiast, this is a great product with a ton of advantages that're pretty obvious. For the novice user, this is a waste vs a decent paste. However, this really shines for the mid-range / average user who wants a solution they won't have to ever change again, while also getting good temps. ... show more

  • I was skeptical but it does work!
Size: 33 x 33 x 0,2 mm
It keeps my AMD 7600x 39c idle and 50-60 under load. It is very fragile and can only be used once. I applied tiny specks of Thermal paste in two corners of cpu to keep the sheet in place since it slides easily when you try to attach cpu cooler. Definitely worth the money!
