  • Prints look good
Color: 13-dual Rose Red Blue
This tricolor material prints well. The colors are consistent layers, so you don't get the lines randomly in your prints like some other brands that I've tried. I'm very pleased with it. The only downside is if you use a Bambu AMS system. The spools are a little too wide for it.

  • A bit denser than your run-of-the-mill polypropylene, but easier to print
Color: 1kg Pp White
This filament prints very well for polypropylene. The filament size is consistent, it extrudes easier, and it seems to adhere better than your usual roll of PP. They even provide a handful of sheets that you can stick to your build plate, which is likely a film also made from polypropylene. And no, you don't have to worry about the adhesive having a death grip or leaving behind tacky residue. I just want to make it's clear that this filament is pretty high quality, but there are some things that you should know about it first. Since you are also likely looking specifically for polypropylene, which is a pretty uncommon printer filament, I would assume you are also chasing after its unique resilient properties. Let me quell some of your concern and give you the details so you know what you're buying. Full transparency: I bought this roll of filament because my usual source of polypropylene was out of stock. Getting your hands on 1.75mm PP filament right now seems to leave you with very few choices. Usually all you can find is expensive international options or expensive gimmicky rolls with some sort of color or filler like carbon fiber. The bright white color of this polypropylene is a red flag since it is usually quite translucent. The full 1kg roll is also a concern since polypropylene is usually only sold in 0.7kg quantities. This has to do with the density of polypropylene being much lighter than PLA or ABS. After doing a print, I did indeed confirm this filament is denser than pure, raw polypropylene by about 13%, something that was not made clear in the listing at the time. Let me be clear, this is still lighter than PLA. I talked with the manufacturers about this since the part I printed was obviously heavier than a part printed with pure PP, and they were very helpful and patient with me. I was informed that, yes, this polypropylene is heavier than pure PP because of some of the additives. These additives are used to help the filament in all the ways I mentioned before, namely extrusion and bed adhesion. According to what they told me, this filament still retains the toughness, chemical resistance, and similar rigidity to pure polypropylene. I can attest that yes, the toughness and rigidity is very similar, but I am unsure about the chemical resistance. And even though they, and many other PP distributors say these material is food safe, I wouldn't EVER drink or eat off of a mystery plastic unless it's been through some kind of legitimate certification process, which I don't think exists for printer filament. One last note, this polypropylene also has the same layer adhesion just like pure PP, you just need to make sure you're printing at a high enough temperature to get those layers to really stick together. If you've never printed with PP before, the layer adhesion strength is amazing. It's almost like the part is completely homogeneous. Layer separation is quite difficult if not impossible to even forcefully induce in some cases. It'll be much stronger than PLA or ABS in this way. Maybe better than any other readily made printer filament. So in short, here's the pros and cons. Pros: -Actually consistent filament diameter. A lot of manufacturers say this but don't deliver. These rolls are actually good. -Slightly better bed adhesion than raw polypropylene (use their film or PP packing tape). -Better extrusion characteristics (didn't need to adjust or crank flow rate as much for a good print). -Comes with bed adhesion films so you don't have to hunt down tape or buy expensive adhesive. Neutral: -Denser than raw PP by 13~%, but take that number with a small grain of salt. -Opaque white color -Unknown additives that result in the above property changes. -Sweet print smell. Cons: -No obvious cons. Any of the neutral points could be considered cons, and for me, the extra density of the filament WAS a con, but it completely depends on what you need the filament for. If you do your due diligence and are looking at this review or others, you'll know more or less what you're getting, and how different this stuff will be from pure polypropylene. ... show more

  • Gorgeous colors!
Color: 02 Red Gold Blue
The media could not be loaded. I've made several articulated dragons, flexis and toys with this tricolored filament, and I've been super happy with it. Even though there are three colors, the transition effect is like a rainbow, and the silk finish is just beautiful. I ran this filament at about 220° on a 65° bed at about 100-200mm/s, and it had excellent adhesion with no lifting or warping. The spool arrived within 2 days, well packaged and nicely rolled in the plastic spool with no tangles. I was able to use it right away without having to put it in the dryer first. I think it shows off the color shift to its best advantage when printing models that have different viewing angles, such as the coiled body of this dragon. Once it's straightened out, you can see all the different colors along the length of the body. This is a favorite color combination for me, and one of my most commonly requested silks. This is a filament I would enjoy keeping in stock all the time. ... show more

  • Surprisingly AWESOME
Color: 16-matte Red Blue
I was worried about the low cost and the quality. I was wrong to be worried. The matte finish prints better than most other finishes. This brand I will be using again. The texture is awesome and the color changing affect actually works. I used this for a puzzle box and the matte finish didn't work as well since you can't slide anything over it easily but for dragons or other items it was great. ... show more

  • Prints very inconsistently
When it prints correctly this filament has a very nice color but it prints very inconsistently. I had problems with warping, layer adhesion and poor extrusion. Small prints worked okay but large prints would randomly have extrusion and layer issues causing the prints to fail. Maybe I just got a bad roll but I will not be using this filament any more when there are plenty of filaments that provide great results without the problems I have had with this roll. Update: I should have included with my original review that the filament is not uniform in size. Using calipers the filament varies from 1.56 to 1.84 which would easily account for the problems I have had in printing with this. It is a shame because it is a nice color. ... show more

  • Colors are awesome!
Color: 01-rose Red Blue Green
I love the changing colors of this filament! As you rotate the piece, it changes from green to blue to purple to rose. I made some castles for my grandson with this, and they turned out amazing! I'm new to 3D printing and was impressed with the detail I was able to get from this. My grandson calls them his magical castles because of the changing colors. Will definitely be purchasing more to try other colors! ... show more

  • Great color, "Dirty" filament quality
Color: 01 Tricolor Gold Silver Cooper
This was a very nice color combo! But the "dirt" and imperfections made it so hard to get though our printer smoothly. Making the print take even longer. Thankfully, we noticed this and stopped using this filament before the nozzle got clogged with this worse portion. (Picture) (gold/silver/copper) Sad, this was nice color. Just not prepared well. ... show more

  • Beautiful - red gold blue
Color: 02 Red Gold Blue
I was surprised to see reviews where people had trouble with this filament and honestly, it's unfortunate because the colors are beautiful. I had absolutely no problems what so ever and every print with this filament has been consistent and has turned out so well actually to the point that it was almost a relief, knowing I could start it and just walk away. I got so many compliments and requests for this one. Highly recommend it.
