I am a 69" male in my 60's, and I purchased this machine to perform the cardio portion of the Modified Levine Protocol. Thus far, I have used the exercise machine for 6 exercise sessions, mostly of 20 minute duration, employing various resistance levels. This machine is extremely well designed, and the manufacturing quality is high. Since some reviewers reported assembly difficulties, I allowed plenty of time and double-checked each step. Assembly, including discarding the packaging material, required about 3 hours for me. Note the following tips: One hollow bar exists solely to sacrificially protect one machine leg during shipping. It should simply be discarded. As noted in the instructions, the pedal threads for one of the pedals are left-handed (so that it won't unscrew during use). I particularly like how the machine is quiet, stable, and compact. It is easy to move the unit: Simply lift up on bar at the rear of the machine, and it can be rolled on the rollers on the front. This does not require much strength. The seat can easily be positioned to any arbitrary point in the adjustment range. I positioned the seat about 2" from the maximum pedal distance. Depending on individual preference, users with an inseam is longer than 34" might find the maximum pedal distance too short. The "computer" is fairly basic, but it is easy to use. The pulse sensor seems to be quite accurate, generally reading within 1-2 bpm of my wrist-worn fitness tracker. Really like having the pulse information on the display (vs. having to check my fitness tracker). The seat back is fixed, but I found the angle to be just right. However, I put a small cushion between the seat back and the small of my back, for additional lumbar support. The machine has a wide range of resistance levels, and I had no difficulty finding enough resistance to quickly elevate my heart rate into exercise zone 2 with speed of about 15. In short, I'm completely pleased with my purchase. I felt that I received an excellent value/cost ratio, and I would recommend this product. ... show more

I ordered this for my fiancée. She has trouble balancing and uses a walker. She falls often when using a treadmill and with her balancing issues, a regular exercise bike was out of the question. This YOSUDA Recumbent Exercise Bike is perfect for her and she absolutely loves it. She is excited to be able to exercise again without worrying about falling. She is 4'11 and the bike is perfect with the seat in the closest position. She does add a pillow for the back because she likes sitting more straight. The recumbent bike is well-built and sturdy. Assembly was quick thanks to the seller sending a pre-delivery message with tips and a helpful video. The seat is comfortable and it is so quiet during use that you can barely hear it and it doesn't interfere with watching TV while in use. We bought this while it was on sale during Prime Days. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to assemble and other than the directions not showing where the digital read out mounting screws were, it went together without issue. I contacted the manufactured about the mounting screws as they appeared to be missing due to the 4 open screw holes and no screws leftover. They informed me that the assembly manual was missing the section showing that the screws were already in place and simply needed to be removed and reinstalled once mounted. What we love about this is it is fairly compact compared to others we've owned. The display is small so it doesn't get in the way if you want to watch TV instead of your device or the digital readout. The only two issues we have with it are: 1) The seat cushion is not very comfortable. It tends to start hurting your but after about 20 minutes or so and I tend to exorcise for about 45 minutes at a time. 2) The seat assembly shifts slightly while pedaling. Not a drastic amount but enough to be bothersome to us. We placed a small plastic shim in one side and how it doesn't move. All in all it's a great recumbent bike for the price and size. ... show more

The bike was well-packaged and easy to assemble. The hardware was arranged in Assembly Step grouping and instructions were clear. Once assembled, the bike worked smoothly and feels solid and comfortable. Anyone with average mechanical ability can assemble this bike. It was reported several times that the 2 #37 screws to attach the computer were missing. They are not in the hardware pack, they are already screwed into the back of the computer. Easy to put together but it arrived with a split seam on the seat. I emailed the manufacturer. The rep asked for a photo. i sent one and she sent me a new seat asap. It was still useable while I waited for the new seat to arrive. Has a manual magnetic resistance dial control by a cable. No temperamental servo motor to deal with. I had another expensive recumbent bike and the servo motor quit working after the warranty expired. This bike should work for a long time with the manual resistance. You aren't going to find a better bike for the budget price of this one! ... show more

Being a multi medical issue person I was skeptical about purchasing. Shucks I did anyways. Best decision eeeeevvvvver. Even my physicians agreed to me purchasing. I love it. Easy to assemble. It is quiet so noooo click click noise. Comfortable seating and grip bars. I can place phone in slot, pop my ear buds in and peddle away without disturbing others.
