  • Material: This half-shading motorized shades are made of 100% polyester but feel like the natural woven shade. Harsh daylight into soft glow in the warm afternoon, but providing privacy all days. Valance is optional for better looking.
  • P412 Remote Battery Motor: Require a smart bridge to connect to Alexa and Google Home(we suggest Yoolax Hub). Once full charged can run for 3-6months. Work with 15 channel remote, CR2450 button battery contained. Remote is optional, but suggest order at least 1 to set up.
  • Z425 Smart Battery Motor: Work with 5 version of Alexa directly:Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, Echo 4th Gen, other echos and Google Home still need a smart bridge. Work with 16 channel remote.
  • Solar Panels(optional): For the higher window hard to charge, we provide the solar panel for our customers. It come with 50cm USB wire and a manual. There are 2x3M stickers on the solar panel, stick it to the window will ok.
  • Measurement: Shade width including side brackets or valance edge (which takes up to 0.53'' on each side), so the actual fabric width is 1.06'' narrower, sometimes will let the light come in if the shade is Inside Install to the window frame. To solve the light leakage, we offer the tracks on the Customize page. Inside Mount leave 0.1 for security gap, Outside Mount, we suggest customer add 3 to width and height for more blackout.
  • Service: Usually dispatched in 4-5 workdays after size confirmed. Easy install, all mounting kits, instructions are included in the package. The remote be basically programmed before ship. Yoolax offers a 2-year warranty on motors and controls. Any damage or failure of motors or controls happens in the first 2 years, we provide repair or replacement free of charge. I may have written one or two reviews in my life, usually for bad products. I have honestly never found a product that I was so pleased with I felt that I should write a review. We searched for blinds for our new house for months, all the box stores, the custom window treatment stores, etc. No matter how you slice it, even with the best sales of the year you will pay $400 per window for basic motorization at these places, more if its smart. We found Yoolax and bought all the samples, finally settling on different selections for every room because there were so many great color selections. I screwed up my order and decided to downgrade to the RF only hub (I bought a Bond bridge for my fans already, and this saves $40 per blind). The seller responded immediately, downgraded the motor to the RF motor that I wanted, and even threw in an extra remote just to be nice. Delivery took 7 days to the eastern US during the holiday season, so even with the customization, they are doing well with shipping. Installation was extremely simple, note that the instructions to leave something to be desired, and for my inside window installation it was much better to mount the brackets to the vertical sides of the window opening rather than the top. This allows the shade to sit much closer to the top of the window, and must be the intended location by the manufacturer because my blinds opened EXACTLY to the bottom of the window opening, I didnt have to do any fine tuning at all. With the RF motor, the bond hub picked the remote up immediately, imported all the controls, and I was controlling my shades with my Alexa, phone, remote and a wall switch all within minutes. I was worried about the RF motor being an older or less reliable version, but it is much quieter than expected and seems to have no integration issues with my smart systems. Only things I wish they did differently 1) The remotes are actually really nice looking, and magnetically drop into their mount which is nice, however, the remote cannot seem to control all the blinds at once like my smart system does. That would be a nice feature. 2) This may be fixed on the newer system and isnt that big of a deal since they do include a power cord. I would prefer it to be upgraded to USB-C from micro-USB as I am doing my best to get rid of all the older Micro USB throughout my house and just have one type of charging cord. Just a minor annoyance that Micro-USB is still around. Overall, I would strongly recommend these blinds. This was a custom order that the customer measured. The shade was made to the exact measurements submitted, and the results were a perfect fit. The installation instructions were right on. If needed, will buy it again.

I'm providing an update to my original review and adding a star because I discovered one of my issues was my own error and service was great but I actually have a new criticism. Customer service contacted me after posting this review, which implies Yoolax cares. The service I received was great. They sent me a new blind but honestly, it did not fix the issue (1) that the shade is still actually not centered within the valence. However its a pretty small difference (~1") so its not going to stop me from ordering matching shades in my family room since I'm already committed to Yoolax as i have the remote and blind in the kitchen, also, the service was great and price is fair. Initially I reported a crooked valence (2), however this was my fault. When i mounted it, it was not even, i fixed it and it is no longer crooked. The curtain also doesn't hang out the left side anymore, its even but partly this is because I had to reprogram the motor, more on that below My new criticism is that the instructions for reprogramming the motor are very very difficult to follow. they are on YouTube. Look in the comments section, some helpful folks have posted auxiliary instructions. I had to reprogram my motor because when i got the replacement blind, it was not working properly - I cannot explain exactly why this happened but it was really difficult to move the motor to the new blind despite the instructions provided so it may have had something to do with that process. When i reprogrammed though i had the opportunity to customize how far the blind goes down and up. I programmed it so it pulls the rod all the way up and very clear out of sight. Perfect! but it took a lot of time and patience. Overall, i'm happy, thanks Yoolax ---ORIGINAL REVIEW--- Ok experience. Weโ€™ve had this shade for about a month now, love the automatic mechanical feature but I have a few complaints with the product. 1. The shade is not centered within the valence! So you have to choose whether to center the shade or the valence, really shocking design flaw in my opinion 2. Our valence is almost perfectly level, but you would think itโ€™s crooked because as you may be able to tell in the photo, the curtain actually hangs out from the valence on the left side but not the right. Small issue but not great! 3. We got 50% opacity but I thought it would be more transparent, I wish they sold a lower % opacity Overall, Iโ€™d probably try a different blind next time but this works fine for now.
