This product is seriously fantastic! We’ve had them in two separate houses (yes, we came back to buy because they were that good!) But let’s be honest here. My boyfriend and I enjoy our sleeping in (when we can) So sunlight is the devil. Pros: *definitely blocks out light/ sun *SUPER easy to install. Just sticks up on the top of the window after you peel back the tape. *you can cut it to any window length/size *no power tools needed. *cutest little, nifty clips in case you want to open the windows or let some sun in 😊 CONS: *adhesive is not very strong. We learned fairly quickly that you also need some thumbtacks or something to make sure it stays up there. *any sort of sideways wind/fan is an absolute NO-GO. I’ve raised my blood pressure by 6000 trying to make sure these F-ers stayed in place to keep the sun out. HOWEVER !!!! I will say, we only had issues in our second house that has poor ventilation/needs fans. A normal house(last place) we had absolutely zero problems minus the adhesive. These absolutely do work, and very well. But you have to remember that they are paper. So they flow easily. The material is similar to that of thick construction paper.     • Inexpensive quick fix

The shades are darker than some I have bought in the past at retail stores. Overall Iam happy with the product. Some downfalls: **The clips to keep the shades up so you can see out your window DO NOT WORK. I bought cheap medium sized binder clips to keep mine up and they work perfectly for me. **The adhesive doesn't work. This is an issue with most paper blinds. I have always used my staple gun to secure these types of blinds and it works perfectly 👌!! I live in an apartment and my window directly faces the parking lot. This makes it difficult to sleep at night with head lights shining in. Neighbors also frequently pass by my window to walk their pets. These shades help to block it all out and give me privacy and darkness at night when I need it. My cat will likely destroy these at some point so I wanted something that was easily replaced and that's exactly what I got. The box of six was a great bargain! I have a wide window and used 2 side by side. I would definitely purchase this product again. ... show more

I had family from out of town staying with us for 3 weeks and needed temporary shades. I chose the black for maximum darkness. They fell down on the second day so I recommend putting them up and using two thumb tacks provided on either side to keep them in place. During the day the clips help keep them up but I needed one clip for every one foot of shade to keep them up. The set I purchased came with 6 shades total. You would need 18 clips to keep them all up. They came with 12 total clips. You can improvise with other clips around the house. Overall, very happy with these as a temporary fix. ... show more

Find a different product. They looked great as soon as we installed them and the next day they fell off. Reinstalled them and they continued to fall. The adhesive they use is very poor quality and they don’t stick to any surface. This was a waste of money. I have another set that I bought from the local hardware store and they have been holding up great. They are only two dollars more but worth the money. ... show more

The shades are fine, but the clips are terrible. They fall off all on their own. If you’re going to buy these, buy some clothesline style clips to hold them.

it’s temporary on the windows. I purchased them to put on a window where an expensive Hunter Douglas shade was being repaired. The company takes a long time to fix it approximately one month so I can’t have no blinds at all on the window no privacy your bedroom it was in my bedroom so I have extra ones now in case it happens again I was able to get several of them that came included and it was very easy to attach to the window. Just stick on no problem, it kind of looks similar to the other shades not perfect but at least it’s something instead of just putting a sheet up. I was satisfied with this purchase. I purchased these blinds for my sunroom because the summer sun heats it up, a lot. My plants love the sun, but it gets too hot for me. I do not have all of my windows covered, but did use these six blinds, and it has made a big difference. They are easy to install. I use clips (like potato chip bag clips) to hold them up when I want to raise them up some to let my plants catch some rays. I have been using them about 3 months, and I have not had any problems. When you install them, use the thumb tacks they provide, because the adhesive does not stick at all. I used 3 tacks on each blind, one on each end and one in the middle. ... show more

Love these & was super excited to receive, but I have to say I was disappointed with this purchase. The blinds did not stay up. They kept falling. My last resort was I nailed to the window frame so it wouldn’t fall again. Not sure if it was the adhesive that was of poor quality?
