These are great. Was everything as advertised. Only took a few minutes to assemble and install. The little lady has been wanting some for a couple of years. I surprised her and got some for the bedroom. She absolutely loves them. They look great in the window from inside and blocks out all light.     • These are well made but the instructions suck.

OMG. I spent, literally, 10 hours trying to get these blinds to recognize the bottom stop for the remote control. First of all, the instructions are ridiculously hard to understand. For example it says press "M" button for 2". Is that 2 times? 2 seconds? 2 minutes? 2 inches? While the blind moves 2"? Who knows, so you try all renditions. The M button only stays activated for 60 seconds while you set the bottom code. Almost forgot to mention that the remote has to be taken apart to program it and it is incredibly flimsy inside. The screw would have been easy to lose so I appreciated a different reviewers tip about that. To program the bottom stop, you have to do several things in the exact right sequence, like press M until the blind moves, then click Admin, then press S until the blind moves, then move the blind with the remote that is disassembled, so hard to do, to the bottom location, then hold down the down-arrow button until the blind moves. Since I mounted inside the window with wooden blinds, I couldn't reach the 'M" button so had to take the thing off the wall every time I re-tried this sequence in a different way (M only lasts 60 seconds) because I couldn't understand the instructions. So - literally - 10 hours later, they work. I was hoping to buy the hub and set up the app, but I think I'm going to throw in the towel and pray the batteries hold out in the remote for a while. That said, they do a good job of blackout, thermal, and sound-proofing and are easy to use once you figure it all out. I'm going to be sure not to lose THESE instructions! ... show more

    • Broke after 10 months but company fixed the issue

Don't know if I got a dud or not, but my blind broke after 10 months of use. I contacted the company thru amazon and they tried to trouble shoot it and when that failed, issued a replacement even thou there was no warranty and it was well past the return period. They were very responsive and great to work with. I'm hoping the new one I got lasts longer as it is a very good quality for the price and works great otherwise. It always responds to my smart timers, keeps most of the light out and never malfunctioned at all until the end there. It looks nice as well. ... show more

Blind was not difficult to install and did not require drilling into the wall. Blind material was a little bit flimsy but does keep out much of the sun and heat. I placed it in the master bath over the tub so to open and close the blind, I no longer need to step into the tub, just push the remote. Worth the cost! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These shades operate as advertised and for much less than other options out there. the instructions were less than straight forward, but the video helps some. I can operate these 100% by voice (Google home) and they are setup to open and close with sunrise/sunset. They seem slightly louder than I expected, but Ive never heard other motorized shades to compare them too. Overall good buy for the price. If you plan on having these connected to an app for the schedule then do not buy this brand. The “hub” you get with your purchase does not work. They have discontinued it with no replacement and there is no way to contact the seller. Unless you want to carry around 10+ remotes for each individual shade and go around your house every time clicking all these buttons to open/close shades then do not purchase these. ... show more
