These panel blinds have turned out to be great. They have a nice crisp look that fits in well with our living room. I was able to install these myself, though another person would have made it quicker and easier. The instructions were fairly clear for the installation, though I think they need some work on the connectivity wifi/app/Alexa portion. The good and the bad. The product installation instructions are translated from very bad Chinese but this shouldn't deter you. If you have an inkling of tech skills, it won't be an issue. Follow your gut and most of all, my best advice is when actually getting ready to attach to your wall don't use the supplied tape to mark your drill holes to mount the blinds. Actually find the studs above your sliding glass door and mount screws into the studs. It's 100% more secure than the drywall anchors supplied. Find your own #8 2 1/2" drywall screws also. You'll thank me. There are no good videos to look at online to install this particular blind either. That's too bad for a $700 blind. It did hook up rather easy to my home wifi but know that it can only connect to 2.4 g wifi. Connecting to our home automated Amazon Alexa went pretty quick once I figured this out. Finally, if you have no tech skills to install this or don't have anyone handy to do it for you, this is NOT the product for you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The panel blinds look fantastic and work well with Alexa. My only main complaint was with the installation instructions and videos. They are not that great. Specifically, the hanging of the blinds was not made very clear and I ended up having them not open right (the first panel moved but others did not). Looking at the video and instructions they did not made it clear that you have to put them in order and that the little tabs on the first panel need To be set so they push the second one and the second one needs to push the third. Sounds obvious now but that was not mentioned or shown at all. So it took me several extra hours and frustration to get it installed right. Eventually I got it and they work perfectly. The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased electronic blinds that successfully connect to both an app and Alexa, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I bought this unit for my home. I bought two previous roller shade units just months before. I was very happy with the purchase made. So when I purchased this for my patio door I bought the unit with the motor and the CHARGING Cable. Not the power cord Charging cable. So I get it in place and can't figure out why it wont hold a charge. I contacted the company and they informed that this unit does not have a battery and it needs to be plugged in at all times. I do not have an outlet near this. I contacted them to ask them for a solution and they suggested the solar panel charger that works with. ..... the motor battery unit. My unit does not have a battery hence that will not work. Honestly this is beyond words disappointing. If I had known this motor didn't have charging I would have bought a different model from someone who could. This is awful. I feel cheated. ... show more

These blinds arrived exactly as customized and look great. They function as expected and have many options to open and close. We could have paid thousands to have someone design and customize them but purchasing them here saved us thousands and only cost a few hundred. The material is of great quality and it has a beautiful style. The only problem and set back are the instructions provided with the blind. I had to get in touch with them twice because they shipped wrong instruction and a second time because instructions provided the second time were not clear.
