I love this guy! It feels sturdy and solid, but is compact and easily maneuverable. It folds away easily, although the slightly smaller size means I usually don't have to worry about doing that, it pretty much can get slid out of the way whenever necessary. For actual use, both parts have a pretty good range of motion and feel comfortable and secure everywhere its meant to go. As a pole artist, I do a lot of calisthenics and flexibility training that require some more creative uses of workout equipment, and this handles everything really well. there are good positions on the bench to work on back flexibility, it's a perfect height for working over splits, and of course it's well padded and comfortable for body weight and free weight exercises. The ankle support is a little shorter than I've had in the past, but as I've gotten used to it I've found it to be very comfortable. The style is really nice - normally I hesitate with black and red because it feels a little too butch for me, but its well done and beautifully understated. Even when its in the center of my room it doesn't feel out of place! When I got this I figured it was a bit of a risk, but especially for the price I think it paid off well. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! ... show more

    • Sturdy and great for the price, but with some caveats.

Easy to assemble (no actual assembly, just instructions for setting it up and inserting safety pins), and sturdy feeling. It is a little narrow, so you may have to trust yourself and your stomach muscles that you can get up from a flat position without thinking you will lean to the side and fall over. Two things that were not clear in the instructions or the product info: 1) The part for your legs with the foam pads can’t really be on the bench when it’s folded up without either sticking out or blocking the seat from going down all the way to it’s most compact position. You either have to decide to keep it somewhere in its fully open position, leave off the foam knee extension, or have a part sticking out awkwardly when folding it for storage. 2) This is most likely standard for this type of product, but FYI there are two locking safety pins that are used to secure the seat to its leg and at the middle joint to keep both legs in their open position. You have to remove these to fold up the bench, and put them back in when you get want to use it again. They give you a little zipper bag for them but you then have to have a place for that. This is a very nice workout bench. It pretty much already comes assembled. Very sturdy. Im about 260lbs and it holds me easily. My only complaint is that im 6ft and the bench is a tad short. Nothing that would make me return it but my head does hang off a little bit.

The bench is easy to set up and it is pretty sturdy and the cushions are nice and dense. Quality is pretty good for the price. I am 5'7" and 150lbs and my head just barely rests at the top of the backrest. It works perfectly for me, but not sure about a bigger person. the back rest needs a few more "lower than level" positions than it has, so basically you are flat or completely down. I have noticed the ankle brace gets loose every once in a while. Overall for me it is a good bench, but I would not recommend if you are over 5' 10" or heavier than 200lbs ... show more
