Great mat, but be careful with sensitive skin

This mat is great. The perfect thickness and the color is nice, but if you have sensitive skin like I do, please WIPE THE MAT OFF BEFORE USING. It has a strong chemical smell when taken imout of the package and it irritated my skin. I got hives the first time I worked out on this mat. I wiped it down
three times after; once with a clorox bleach wipe, and two more times with hypoallergenic wipes. I haven't had any skin issues since, but please be sure to wipe down your mat before use so you don't have the same issues I do.

Seems great, very light weight and not slippery

Just got my mattress. I like the color, tried to do some yoga moves and it seems like it’s not slippery at all, I like that its so light weight and not too thick! But my knees are not hurting on it! Love this Matt, color is exact. I’m 5’9 and I can fit pretty comfortably on there. From the top of my head being at the top of the mat only my feet hang off but that’s expected.

It’s just okay, probably would buy a different mat

When I first bought it my dog walked on it and he has long nails and poked some holes in it but I wasn’t too upset. I took it to outdoor yoga, gets dirty easily of course but was easy to clean up. Then I took it to hot yoga, didn’t notice a lot of unusual slipping but was hoping it would be a bit mor
e grippy. My issue; I’ve used it three times and rolled it up to put in my bag. When I unrolled it the second time I saw small micro tears on the bottom where it was rolled up. I’ve had a couple more pop up in the same place. I’m worried it’ll eventually tear at some point. I’m trying to glue it but we’ll see how it works. I’ve had plenty of mats that never had this problem so I don’t know if it’s a cheap material or what. Very thin, easy to see any indentations during yoga too like hands and feet.

I'm not a yoga expert. I haven't been doing yoga for years. So I don't know much about yoga equipment, but I looked at many mats and researched a good bit before buying this mat. I've used it a few times and it seems to be exactly what I wanted. It's thick enough to provide a bit of cushioning where
I need it, especially my hands when doing a downward dog or a plank. Sometimes I fold the end of the mat over to provide more cushioning. I honestly didn't think that the lines and decorations on the mat would help me at all (again, I'm no expert, I'm just happy to get into the right position by the time the instructor is moving on to the next pose!), but I actually find myself lining up my feet and hands with the markings on the mat. Also, the mat seems pretty durable so far. I've had to scoot my feet in one direction then the other, pivot, slide, etc., (not just step, but actually move my feet across the surface of the mat, which is not easy since the mat provides friction so you don't slip on your sweat) and the mat has not torn yet. I'm a pretty heavy girl, so I was pleasantly surprised that the weight pressing down from my feet onto the mat didn't tear it in any way. And the back of the mat grips my laminate floors well. It doesn't slide at all. It seems to be easy to clean. I have dogs, so I sweep and then Swiffer my floors with a dry pad and then a wet pad before I work out. But there is inevitably still some dog hair and dirt left behind that get on my mat. It looks like it goes away when I just wipe it off with my hand when I notice it in the middle of my workout. I got my daughter one as well and she loves it, too!

I love this mat, great value

I was looking for a semi thick, cute new mat for at home (on carpet) and hot yoga classes. Slipping was a concern for me, but it hasn't been an issue with this mat, even in sweaty class. I love the pretty rose pink color. The best part is the design which has lines for alignment, I've found that real
ly fun to work with it has helped me stay aligned during practice. I even got a compliment from my teacher, who said she thought it was another (more expensive) mat she had seen. Great value for what you get. It's a little less thick than I expected, but I still like it a lot!

It slides, slips/moves while using on carpet.
