These are great gloves. They are goat skin, which isn't as thick and durable as some other hydes. For example, these gloves puncture easily, and are as heat resistant. These gloves are a snug fit in large size for me and I usually buy Large. Not sure that I woulld want an XL sixe. I can "feel" things much better than a standard pair of welding glove. I hope that as the break in they get a little less snug in fit. I'm sure the white dyed leather will not stay that color very long. Time will tell but came a good price. ... show more

The middle finger is cut too short making them uncomfortable to wear. Having small hands I ordered these in the large and found they were tight and uncomfortable to wear due to the short fingers especially the middle finger is cut just to short. Returned them immediately.
