I have two cars I wanted a low profile high quality jack to work on them. Everything looked right on the description like this was the jack for me, but I was disappointed when it arrived to find that this one still didn't sit low enough for either of the cars I was looking to use them on. I still kept it because the build, strength and ease of use just screams quality. If you're looking to jack up a sports car, this isn't for you. The two cars I wanted to pick up were a 2015 Z51 Corvette and a 2014 Cadillac ELR. Both cars sit too low for this jack to even really reach the outer part of the frame rails for safe lifting. I was able to make it work by using my wife's temporary jack to boost each car up a couple inches and then slide this under. Once that was done couldn't be happier with this jack. The two piece handle is strong and feels great, lifting is a snap, you can drop at any speed you want by twisting the handle, and it didn't move or feel unsteady once both cars were in the air. I got a 3 ton jack because the ELR weighs close to 5000 lbs, so everytime I used a 2 ton jack it made me nervous. Probably overkill and you may not have to worry about a coupe that weights 5000 lbs, so this might be the ideal jack for you. Still gave it 5 stars for overall quality, ease of use, and strength, even though it didn't suit my needs. ... show more

Even though the packaging didn't fair well, the jack was in good condition. My choice of shoulder carry to the garage almost got a toe squashed as the jack fell out of the packaging and hit the concrete floor in the garage with a real thud! The jack works fine, but was hoping for the rubber saddle, just to keep metal on metal contact.

This is a really strong low profile floor Jack. It is just what I need to get under a low car like my Honda Accord. At 3.5 tons it will be able to work under a truck.

I don't write reviews but I'm a little Pissed Off at the moment. I bought this jack October 15th as a gift received it on time life was good. The jack sat in my closet and was brought the night before Christmas. The jack was bright shiny and a hit for my father. Holidays come and go Dad wanted to jack up his truck and check something but the jack couldn't get the truck off the ground... you twist the handle pump the jack and while pumping it will go up an insignificant amount and right back to a height where it doesn't have to support the weight of the truck. This truck is an f 250 and shouldn't be an issue. So I do the online contact and I'm told it's after the 30 day wait time and I'm eligible for a return or refund. (I just want to fix the jack and use it as it is designed to do) So I call amazon after 15 minutes of confirming my account and fighting with an automated system I got transferred to a human. In my head I'm thinking thank god life is about to get better. So I get to the gentlemen who asked me to confirm my account this time I didn't receive my text they tell me that I'm not who I am because the account information linked with the phone number I'm calling from is different... I have one account one number and have never had another or number or account in my life. I ask him to use my e-mail to verify and I don't get that either mean while my last order 10 days ago all occurred without issue... After 30 minutes of this I was told to call back and try again... Thanks Amazon for your wonderful service. I'm an amazon prime member who has been here for 7 years give or take and considering canceling my subscription and avoiding amazon as much as possible. If something changes I'll repost a follow up. ... show more
