Description

Parameters: Input voltage:DC7-36V ;Output voltage: DC1.25-32V Output current: adjustable, 5A Max(please use it within 4.5A) Output power: 75W Max(please use it within 50W, if the pressure difference is big, please reduce power) Working frequency: 180KHz Conversion efficiency: Up to 96% Working temperature:-40°C - +85°C Installation: 4pcs 3mm screws Module dimensions: L 68.2mmW 38.8mm H 15mm description: Short circuit protection : Yes Input reverse polarity protection: No(if necessary, please in input String into high current diode) Wiring: terminal block or solder terminals, V-IN is the input, V-OUT is output Usage: Use as a battery charger Use as high power constant current LED drive module. Note: 1. The factory default output voltage is 17V. If the module can not be adjusted, the output voltage is always equal to the input voltage. When you encounter this problem, counterclockwise rotation of the potentiometer 10 laps or more, by doing this you can adjust the output voltage. 2.Because of Module output terminal string has a current sampling resistor, it is a normal phenomenon that there will be 0-0.2V voltage drop after connected to the load. 3.When its output is more than 3A/35W, please enhance heat dissipation! 4.This DC converter is single output, the output voltage of the USB port is the same as the output voltage of the module, if your load is USB device, please make sure the module's output voltage is set at 5V. 5. Single output, the output voltage of the USB port is the same as the output voltage of the module, if your load is USB device, please make sure the module's output voltage is set at 5V. • Great little step-down regulator
A review of the Yecco DC-DC step down converter. I bought two of these to run a circuit with a steady input and an alternate lower steady current. As others have mentioned the instructions leave much to be desired, but after a few minutes pondering and tinkering was able to both calibrate the meter using my external meter, and adjust the voltage I needed. Also mentioned by others, you will need some tiny screwdrivers to adjust the pots with the case on. Since mine would not need adjusting often if at all, I just did this before attaching the acrylic lid. Meter is accurate to about +/- .05 and you need to be a little patient with the pots as you adjust them for the meter to catch up. Displays and LEDs are eye candy, but can be turned off if desired. Awesome little kit as a plug-play module in a circuit and looks great when operating. I was only stepping down 1.5v so no heat issues with mine. It's going into 24/7 usage so we'll see how the longevity is over time. Super little gadget. ... show more

  • dont trust it getting hot it will fail.
was working great but i decided to test the over temp protection and it failed with the magic smoke. burned the regualator out of it hmmm wonder if the seller can send me the regulator, Sorry but it failed cant rate high for something that fails for what it is suppose to pass it was working though till that. 18 volts in 16.4 volts out to charge 18650 4s 5p @ 4.5 amp just below the 73.8 watts Found the data sheet for this and it is only capable 5 amp so anyone that uses this would be wise not to push it past 4 amp even with improved heat dissipation which i had did as well and it popped just before it got to 5 amp constant sitting on a cpu heatsink with one 2 copper spacers and thermal tape bonding it. On the bright side Yeeco was nice enough to send me a replacement it is still working cause frankly i cant trust it to keep working so ive pretty much stopped using it and if i do use it i will not take it past 4 amps. ... show more

  • It does work if you can decipher the instructions.
Bought this to run a COB led array. It works pretty well, although it took me a solid 2 hours to figure out how to use it. The instructions/manual come on a piece of paper in the box and seem to have been written by a 4 year old trying to learn English. Apparently in order to adjust the amperage you have to short the output and spin the potentiometer wildly until you finally see a readout on the (obnoxiously bright, btw) digital display. It does come with a thick plastic case and standoffs. There are no assembly instructions, but once you peel off the paper protecting it during the manufacturing process, assembly is pretty straight forward. Beware the tiny holes for accessing the potentiometers though, if you bend them or don't have a teensiee enough screwdriver you'll be pulling the top off to make adjustments. Overall though, it is worth the money if you're willing to kajigger and tweak it until it works. ... show more

  • USB PORT WILL FRY YOUR PHONE IF YOU DON’T SET THE UNIT TO 5 VOLTS. Really dumb ether don’t put a USB connector or make it 5Volt
!!!WARNING!!! The USB port puts out whatever voltage you set it to. If you set it to 12V you will fry your cellphone or whatever you connect. Lucky for me I checked with my DMM first really a bad design in that aspect. Everything else about it is great! Love the fact hat you have to build the box and it does exactly what I wanted. ... show more

  • Outstanding product
I was unsure of how reliable or functional device this would be, but it is perfect. It is very easy to use, and performs exactly as described. I needed a current/voltage limiting device to restrict the current flow to a solar powered water pump, so the flow could be set to a level that also lets the battery charge during the day. The little clear carbonate box just makes it easy to use and is "cool". ... show more

  • It works
It worked for me, but it took a lot of fiddling to get it right. But it was very inexpensive. I'm using it to step down to a temperature controller and a silicone heating pad. I only need to heat it to ~90 degrees, but if you were heating it up to something much hotter it would destroy this converter due to heat. When I was setting it up it would regularly get too hot and cut off. There is no intelligence in the cutoff, so it would immediately start back up and kick off. The heat sink is way to small if you need to push more power through this. Again, I didn't need to, so this thing worked for me. ... show more

  • Works but the directions stink (there aren't any)
So after much frustration I believe I've figured this thing out. It's set to output more than 12 volts out of the box, turning the voltage screw doesn't seem to have an effect on the output. If you turn the voltage POT to lower the output voltage and nothing happens, keep turning, 20 or 30 times seems like it finally came down to below 12 volts. Better instructions would be helpful. ... show more

  • Nice product.
I really like this voltage regulator, however I had to take a star off due to the lack of a manual. It has some secret features that I have discovered by accident and not quite sure what they do. But it is a nice unit for the money.
