Using this to add a subwoofer to a factory head unit. Makes it very easy compared to removing the head unit as you only need to tap into the rear or rear door speaker wires (rear speakers usually always receive full bandwidth). If your amp has a high-level input, you don't have to use this LOC. This one works great but remember to turn the adjustable level up all the way. I added a subwoofer to a G37 Convertible using a wire tap from the rear 6x9's and it works very well. This allows the factory head unit to utilize the bass adjustment from the Bose system to work just like having a separate subwoofer volume control. It's a quality product. I purchased this item for a stereo speaker install that my Son is doing in my Husband's truck back in January 2020. Unfortunately, he just now started the installation last week and we didn't actually open the line output converter until just this past weekend and unfortunately it does not work, it made a strange noise for a few seconds and then nothing. It's now out of the return window to return this defective product, per what it's stating here on Amazon. Absolute Junk!!! I've messaged the seller informing them that they sent me a faulty/defective product that doesn't work, currently waiting on their response... Hopefully either I can get a replacement for one that actually works or a refund of my money!!! ... show more
