Decided to try this hose because I got tired of replacing the "retractable" hoses although I love them ibecause they are so light and when they retract they are out of the way. Unfortunately, they ALWAYS get a puncture or a leak. Lucky if you get more than a year out of them. I've probably tossed out 10 of them in the last 5 years. I've had this hose for about 6 months now. I garden a LOT and so the hose gets a LOT of use down here in S. Louisiana in the summer. So far so good. It is NOT kink free but when it gets twisted the wrong way it is easy to turn it over and get it straightened out. I hate the color. Bright orange! What were they thinking? But I got it anyway since it's in the back yard and the side of house. And the reviews were so good. All in all it's a good hose so far. I would still rather a retractable IF they could make one that would last at least 3 years. ... show more

This is the absolute worst hose I have ever owned. It kinks no matter what you do I took it out of box, uncoiled it which too forever and laid in sun to soften up. It stilled kinked every time I pulled it. This just a horrible product! Donated to a community garden because I could not-get the kinks out of it to send it back. ... show more
