This tree is great, my cats love it & got on it right away. Assembly was easy & the fact you can mount the strap to the wall is a nice feature. You don't need to worry about your fur babies tipping it over & the hole for the mount is super small & comes with an anchor. The color is great it's a blueish gray & it's so soft. With 2 cats, 7lbs and 18lbs who spent countless hours on their old condo; it was time for a replacement. Given their size differences, I thought this one would be suitable. Landings off the cubbies and the hamick on the bottom were selling points, for my pleasantly plumb girl. This condo offers two sizes of cubbies, that accommodates multiple or larger cats. The old condo held up well considering their weight and rough housing (chasing their tails) on the top platform, given the weight of this condo I'm hopeful it will last several years as well. I have noticed most condos are sturdier when on a hard floor rather than carpet. I waited a month or so to review, to share accurate information following use. I was able to assemble with reasonable ease, however the directions were not extremely helpful and I ended up using YouTube. The package was missing 1 of 2 smaller bolts and I took 1 that was similar from the old condo. Overall, I chose a color that was complimentary to my home and would mask their black hair. I loved this cat tree. It was very easy to put together, and the cat tree stood just a little shorter than me (5"7). The beds were very comfortable and as long as all the bolts were installed properly, the cat stand was sturdy. The only thing that didn't hold up were the cat scratching posts. The media could not be loaded. My cat loves this cat tower. It took me about 45 min to put it together. Very simple and straight forward. He has done some damage already on one of the jingle balls and we’ve only had it for like two months. So it may not last looking nice for more than a year or two depending on your cats! But for the price, it’s definitely worth it. If you have a larger more rambunctious cat, then I would definitely find a place to secure to the wall. Not super sturdy. My cat is fine but even he pushes it away from the wall sometimes because we don’t have it attached. He finds it very comfortable to sleep in and does often. The size was surprising! This cat tree has survived two years of 1 cat and 4 kittens. They still use it everyday, and it is still intact. The levels allowed it to grow with the kittens, since the layers could be stacked from the bottom up. It is sturdy (but all my cats are under 15 lbs) and allows each cat to sit and have plenty of space without fighting (most of the time). It also cleans easily, which is an absolute asset. We needed something for our energetic 8 month old cat to climb and get up high. It took him a day or two to get use to it but he plays on it more everyday. Right now he is asleep in the square "house". I thought the instructions for putting this together were very clear and easy to understand. My husband and I had no problem putting this together.
