The product is good for its price, but you definitely need to have a kitten or smallish cat. Luckily, ours is an average-to-small cat (she’s about 9-10 pounds), and she *barely* fits in the basket and upper perch, and she won’t go into the kitty-cave at all. That said, she really enjoys the rest of the cat tree/tower, so I’m not disappointed, but I sure would have been if she were a few inches longer and two pounds heavier. Assembly was really easy! I expected it to be much more difficult. It came with all the tools necessary for assembly. The hardest part was lining up the holes with the screws, as the holes are all covered with the fuzzy cloth lining. There was no manufacturing odor to the unit when I opened it, it had no odor whatsoever. The height is great, it only took my kittens a few days to figure it out and love jumping and climbing...and scratching! Thankfully they scratch the scratching posts more than my couch! The position of the hammock is adjustable so you can rotate it to a spot that's good for your cat. The whole unit is very sturdy when assembled correctly per instructions, and theres a strap to affix it to the wall so any rambunctious leaps or jumps won't topple the tree. ... show more

I wasn’t sure what to expect for such a low price, but it’s totally fine. It serves it’s purpose and the cats like it. I did anchor it to the wall because with the cats running up and down and jumping off of it it could get a little wobbly. The tower came fast and was as described. . Easy to put together. But the top perch and cave area are a lot smaller than expected. My average size 7lb cat can't really fit comfortably. I am keeping it but would have wanted a larger bed area.

This cat tree was within my budget, so I gave it a shot. My 1 yr old cat loves the hammock bed, another cat loves the high perch. I did use the strap to attach to the wall so it would not tip over with play. So far, so good. The fleece being used in many cheaper cat trees is not very durable, so this should be a consideration for purchase. ... show more
