I bought this bike after a fair amount of research. Xterra was the main brand I was considering. I happened to find a “damaged box” unit and decided to just do it. It is fairly heavy. I unpacked it and moved the pieces into the room where I intend to use it. Assembly took an hour to an hour and a half but parts were well labeled and directions were clear. It came with the two tools needed for assembly. Unlike some reviewers, My seat does lock in place right now. Maybe that changes...not sure yet. I’ve used the bike for a few days and am very pleased with my purchase. I appreciate the tablet holder so that I can use my iPad to read or watch a show or do virtual rides. I’ve had the bike for over six months now. My seat still locks in place. Still pleased with my choice. Rode it this morning before work while watching a tv show. Don't express my opinion unless I'm convinced to do so. The unit came very well packaged, the instructions were surprisingly easy and clear. The monitor is easy to read from a comfortable setting. And you have several options of type of workout and gives you the goal options you need to feel like you are actually accomplishing something. Whether you use the odometer to reach that goal of one, two, or several miles at each workout or monitor your heart rate, it really gives you what you need to challenge yourself. For this price, a great buy. Easy to assemble, compact use of space, and effective for my needs. Its no Peloton, but its a solid well built old-fashioned exercise bike. If you just want to have a way to do cardio in the comfort and privacy of your home, with something that takes up little space and has a nice clean look, somewhat light weight (might need two people to move up the stairs, but it folds and moves along floor well enough for one), then this is for you. For the price, this is an excellent piece of exercise equipment. Comfortable and easy to use. The seat is sturdy and does not wobble. Only time will tell if this bike maintains its integrity. The only thing I don't like is that the digital readout is in kilometers and cannot be changed to accommodate U.S. readings, i.e. MPH, calories, time. UPDATE:. I take it back. The seat does wobble.
