We used this outside on carport to screen in and keep bugs off of us. It was easy to use, fairly durable fiber, great value for the money. The thickness is about 16th inch. It has good weight to it. As you can see from the picture i used it to make a shade canopy from our deck to our dock. Our distance was 25'5" and i used 12' 2x4s over top so this is obviously over 12' we wrapped around the last 2x4s. I put every other one on first and laid the cover over and added the ones in between on top and used angle brackets to screw them down from the top and hurricane ties to hold the 2x4s in place underneath. It creates great shade with some light and air flow. And birds dont bother us. Love the size and results. As long as it lasts.
