Scooter is good looking. Easy to assemble. Hardest part was getting the packing frame off. We did lose one fastener for the backrest into a space under the seat where we couldn’t reach it with pliers. Shock absorbers a little tight. Still feel bumps. Engine has plenty of power. Mirrors a little touchy to adjust. Takes trial and error. I had to lower the yoke so the mirrors could be adjusted to see behind. The mirrors don’t have much adjustment. It’s big enough for me (5’10’’ 180 pounds). Very easy to control but does take some practice before going out on road or sidewalk. Throttle a little touchy. Will take getting used to. No problems or complaints so far. I’ll add to this review after I use the scooter for awhile. So far, it’s worth the money for what I need. I’ve had a chance to ride a bit and I’m impressed. I need further experience to control better. Squeezed the brakes too hard a few times. This scooter is great. I’ve been able to ride through my wood lot and in the meadow. Plenty of power. I’m getting to places on my property I haven’t been able to get to in years. Especially like how quiet it is. I’m not scaring animals before I see them. Only thing missing is a cup holder. After about a month of using my scooter, here are a few things I’ve noticed: 1. Speedometer doesn’t seem to measure real speed. It might be using the current to the motor to guess speed. In the highest range, it’s always 15mph unless I back way off on the throttle. On really step hills it says I’m doing 15, but it’s really only a brisk walk. 2. The odometer doesn’t show true total mileage. When the key is first turned and it performs a self-check, the true mileage is displayed for about 2 seconds. Watch for it or you’ll miss it. Once the scooter is ready to go, the mileage is at zero. It increments as you go. However, there is no tenth of a mile marker. Whole miles only. 3. Back rest is extremely uncomfortable. If you hit a bump, it’s actually painful. I bought a seat cushion for the back of an office chair and sort of solved that problem. Now it’s a little difficult to really adjust the console but I’ve gotten used to the settings. 4. Don’t go into a muddy area. It may say off road, but I’ve had the tires spin in grass, no more than a 2% grad. Works fine on paved roads, bounces a lot on dirt roads. 5. Narrow wheelbase makes control difficult when there is a high crest of uneven surface. In spite of these. Criticisms, I’m happy with mine. I’m able to enjoy the outdoors and cruise the dirt roads around here. Worth the money, but don’t expect real off-road performance. I got hung up on a branch about 2 inches in diameter. ... show more

Hi, I bought my Xmatch type2 Heavy Duty 4-wheel mobility scooter in 9/2023. I typed the full name because I've memorized it from telling so many people, who have stopped me to ask about it. I haven't been compensated in any way for my review. But maybe, I should be paid for all the word-of-mouth advertising I do when so many people ask me about it.(lol) The three words I hear the most is "That's Bad Ass!" Which it is. As mentioned, I bought mine in 9/23. So why so late on a review? It's simple. I rarely do reviews, surveys and such; (I don't like feeding the ever hungry -data- machine) But what has convinced me to do so is the Exceptional Customer Care service. This company has been actually Eager to help me, and has literally gone Above and Beyond, long after the sale!!! Now that's a rarity, especially in today's business practices. The scooter itself is awesome, in my view and experience. The great stability and the many surfaces, even, uneven terrain, I can drive on is great! Now, it won't turn on a dime but it is surprisingly maneuverable. An example would be the tight left and right turn boxed corners from a sidewalk to the crosswalk signal button. Once you get use to it, it's a breeze. I've riden countless short to medium trips-(5-10 mile) and I have traveled 28 miles, twice, on one full charge and still had some battery power left; that's rather impressive! My personal belief is that half the people who've asked about it have actually purchased this cool scooter. It's not a Corvette or the like, but it will certainly turn heads! It now has 245 miles and doesn't show any signs of distress. A very big bonus for me is that it fits in the elevator, (if your elevator may be smaller than standard, simply turn the 360 rotating seat) and through my (regular size) doorframe. I park it in backwards to its designated spot in my apartment. So you don't have to have a garage for it to be practical to own! I love mine! The seat is very comfortable and the seatbelt comes in handy when turning at fast speeds. Sometimes I turn the seat to face out from the rear and I have a comfortable seat for fishing. The three "gears"/selected speeds really help in tight areas. So you don't accidently jump to 15.5mph and crash into a wall or something. The attached trunk is roomier than it appears, plus I have the under the seat storage, where I keep my lock and chain, even though it has a decently loud alarm system. Okay, what else to say...? I'm probably forgetting a cool feature or something, that's just not coming to my mind at this moment. Except to say that I am not a "robot" and my intelligence is organic; if you needed me to, I could tell you what pictures have the traffic lights &/or bicycles- haha. Speaking of pics, here's a few... ... show more
