A bit pricey, but well worth it! I got this little guy in just a couple days and it was basically plug and play for me. The manual suggests downloading a "CH 342 drive port," but luckily I had a CH340 driver already installed for use with a baofeng programming cable and that worked fine. I first plugged everything in with the radio OFF and opened the device manager on my PC. Then, if configured right, look under "ports" and you should see a new device pop up when you plug the DE-19 into the computer. Next to the device listed, you will see what comm port it was assigned (mine was comm 11.) I used WSJT-X for my software and after about 30 minutes messing with the settings, I was on! (YouTube helps) I'm using this with a Xiegu g106 and just my PC, all free software. I'm a total newbie with this kinda stuff, but from opening the box to on the air took about an hour. I checked psk reporter and saw my little 5 watt signal was getting out all over the country! Anyways, sorry for the long winded review. I have tried many times, with very limited success to use the CE-19 with the G90 and it just doesn't work for me. I purchased this hoping for better results and I was not disappointed. I haven't had the chance to use my interface just yet due to computer issues, but it is very easy to understand. I feel that I will have no issue using it once my computer is working properly.

Purchased for use with Xiegu G90 to reduce cabeling and enable the radio to communicate with a computer. No installation hitches, and I've made numerous contacts using WSJT-X over the last week. Recommended for use with the G90.

Product notes indicate it will make FT8 ccommunication possible. It does not.
