I bought this as 'used' but i don't see anything about it that is used, to me it looks brand new, so as far as I'm concerned I got a cracking deal on this. Works well, no issues. I got an Astatic D-104 power mike and used the mic converter cable that came with the radio.

AM 40 CHANNELS UPPER AND LOWER SIDEBAND ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES TO GO WITH IT.     • Cant go wrong with this CB!
I researched for a week before deciding to buy this one, and it does everything it says it can. After setting the SWR I found some people chatting on channel 38 lower sideband, and asked for a radio check. They told me I was loud and clear, and they were over 20 miles away from my location!! It was even better quality than I thought it was going to be, and I really love that it has 7 colors to choose from. Excellent little radio!     • Annoying beeping noise fix!
I’m not reviewing the radio as I have not used it yet. I noticed a lot of reviews stating that you can’t shut off the beeping noise when changing channels or using other button/knob functions. To remedy (turn offf beeping) press and hold the “ANL/NB” button for one second and no more beeps! It’s in the user manual although it’s poorly defined. Talked for years on diff. types of C.B.s,I have found that UNIDEN can hang tight with the most expensive and does a GREAT job at it.This Radio is just what I was needing to talk long range "skip"And I enjoy it daily.

    • Exactly as advertised
Good CB/SSB radio overall, the only issue I have found is that the radio appears to have left the factory with power outout on AM as 7-8 watts dead key according to my meter (Which can't be that far off on readings). Hooked my amp up to the radio to see what it's dead key output would be and it does in fact over drive my amp, my amps dead key is the full power it's rated for (150 watts), so either I'll end up opening the radio and turning down the output or just run the amp on my old radio! ... show more

decent little radios for the price but if you have problems which I did the radio just DIED, they will leave you hanging why? the address in the manual to send the radio in for repair is not current. so instead of UNIDEN forwarding your package to the new facility? NOPE they ship it back to you.. and that is where they leave it.. YOU have to LOOK UP the uniden number online and get the PROPER place to send your radio in for repair then it is t least a 2 month wait ... show more
