I bought this radio because I wanted a full setup at an inexpensive price. I wasn’t expecting a lot, but the radio arrived and took about 15 minutes to completely set up, with all features easy to understand and modify. A few things that Amazon does not list in this item: the radio broadcasts at a full 4W, and the radio features a scan mode, which can be accessed by pushing and holding the Up/Dn key for five seconds. I love this radio. It was a lot fuller featured than I thought it would be. The only gripe I have with it, and it’s a tiny one, but no orange color on the LCD screen. Updating my review. Had a minor issue with the Antenna falling apart but customer service was very receptive and took my suggestions on an improvement yo fix the issue for everyone else. Good little unit, limited on range but works well. Gives me a comfort level being in the north woods of maine.

Was blown away when I connected everything and it blasted out voices! It picked up so many channels, it never stopped receiving. I li e I. Washington state, not near any big cities, and heard a women from San Diego! Easy to set up, super easy to operate! Best thing I've bought in a while. Living in rural Washington, sometimes there little or no cell service. Great back up for emergency communications!. Besides, there is something about talking & hearing people both near and far! This CB radio is a very good quality and is very solid. The microphone has some decent weight to it and doesn’t fee cheap. I wanted a compact radio that would fit behind the gear shift and this fits perfectly. The speaker is on the bottom but still is very clear even when driving. The functions are basic but do everything needed. The magnet for the antenna is very strong and has a felt like bottom to protect the jeep. There is plenty of cable to reach just about anywhere I would put the antenna. I would definitely recommend this CB radio. ... show more
