We searched many options for a bed cover that would meet our needs for our 2018 Colorado (6' bed). When the Xcover arrived we were pleased that we made a good choice. It was infact attractive, very sturdy, easy to install (as it turned out), and based on these factors a very cost effective choice. There are a few improvements which can be made to enhance customer experience: the rails should be labeled left/right front/back top/bottom. The instructions should describe more clearly where to install the hardware along the rails. Finally, in our case the weather seal provided did not provide the desired degree of seal for the front bed cover/truck bed or the tailgate area in particular between the bed cover and the top of the tailgate. To fix this issue, we used: 24.6Ft Rubber Weather Seal for Pickups Cap, Automotive Weather Stripping Double-Bulb Tailgate Seal for Pickups Truck Cap and Tonneau Cover (about $25 on Amazon). So it installs pretty easy. There are some gaps on the sides near the ends that they give you self adhering foam to fill in with. Mine still leaks a little despite that. I also heard from another buyer that it can be easily broken into by lifting the center panel to pull the locked end out of the latch. i remedied that by adding nylon straps and buckles to the middle panel. First, the supplier delivered the tonneau cover in only two days in perfect condition. The installation took me about 60 minutes following well written instructions. It hasn’t rained so I can’t say anything about water resistance, but it looks water tight. I really like how how light it is to lift since my previous tonneau was quite heavy and tough on my shoulders. The only minor knock I have; the panel closest to the front of the bed is in a fixed position so only 2/3 of the bed can be uncovered when carrying large loads. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews of people who have owned one of these covers for more than 2 years (like me) and you'll see that the covers are LITTERALLY FALLING APART from rust and material separation! Most of the positive reviews you see are people who just got the their cover, and yeah, it's looks good out of the box and fits fine, but after a year or two, you will see that it's a junk cover and a very dishonest seller. I purchased this Xcover for my Chevy Colorado less than 2 years ago and check out the pictures of what has happened to my cover already. All the way across the middle of the cover it is rotting and separating from the top layer, The top layer is bubbling, splitting and breaking apart with ugly rust streaks running down it. This cover has not had any abnormal use and nothing has been abused or stored on top of the cover to make it do this. I don't live in any extreme weather conditions and the vehicle is well taken care of. Xcover is refusing to replace the cover or help in any way with warranty, truly unbelievable that Amazon allows a seller like Xcover to be here. So, less than a couple of years of buying a new cover and paying a decent amount of money, I'm left with this rusting, peeling, bubbling junk. Check other peoples reviews as well, I'm not the only one who has experienced this issue, and I believe there will be more people reporting the same thing as these covers reach 2 years of use. I would think twice before purchasing this cover, there are better covers available and maybe for a bit more money, but do you really want to risk having your cover look like mine after a few years? ... show more

Works great - just takes a little patience and attention to detail to ensure its lined up with the tailgate. I probably moved it twice once I understood it better. The instructions aren't great. The only complaint I have is the locking pin by the tailgate shough be adjustable (Up or Down) to adjust amount of pressure on tailgate to ensure tightness to prevent water from coming in. I used 2 small wooden wedge pieces to pull down tighter between the pin and latch and that worked great. We moved form NJ to VA and the bed of the truck was completely filled! It rained the whole way down and not a drop of water in the bed after 8 hours of driving our 2023 Z71! ... show more
