I rarely leave reviews but felt this winch deserved one. I used this to winch an old and dead model a ford onto my trailer, and it pulled it with ease. I have 4x6 wood blocks bolted to front of deck and this winch pulled the wheels right over the top of those blocks with ease. It even held the weight of the car, around 2500lbs of dead weight as it rolled slowly and jerked its way down the gate. This is the weight capacity recommended for my can am maverick x3 side by side and the holes are too close together on the fairlead. I had to make my own mounting plate and drill my own holes to get it mounted. Eventually made it work. Has a nice hook and free roll works well along with the wireless remote. This works extremely well on my UTV. I can pull out other UTVs or ATVs while doing trail riding with very little effort. I was able to put this on a hitch cradle so I can quickly switch out my accessories via my tow bar. This thing is seriously a bull! A raging bull. The ease it pulls vehicles out of situations is wild to me . The mounting process was the most difficult part about it, but after watching ONE YouTube video- we had it down without further issues. It’s worth every single penny in quality! This unit has outstanding power for what I consider a medium size winch. It is very easy to wire up and depending on your location has ample wire lengths. Physical mounting was easy for me, but that really depends again on where you are mounting yours. Good strong pulling force.
