I think it would deter anyone who tries to take your bike or scooter, even more so if it's sounding the alarm as they're riding away. This comes with a key fob alarm switch, that may look like one for a car, but not of the same quality, as it is made of plastic. I put this on my scooter and was trying to find an inconspicuous spot to place it, but it's a little hard to attach this in a hidden location on a small scooter, this might be possible on a bike though. Overall, I think it's a great deterrent, affordable, and an added security feature on top of my lock that I think will deter thieves once the alarm starts going off. ... show more

This product is awesome. I like the design, style and the several different functions of the key fob and I especially like the alarm because it will not hesitate to go off if it senses any type of movement or vibration. I prefer this type of alarm because it will not disappoint.

    • Great alarm
Great alarm from a well known brand. I got this for my e-bike to add as another layer of protection against theft. This alarm is loud and will definitely get your attention. One thing I like about this compared to my older alarm is the fact that this one is rechargeable. I carry a small battery pack with me when riding just in case I need to charge my phone. Unlike my older alarm that required replaceable batteries, should I go to use this and find the alarm battery has fully discharged, it only takes me a few minutes to plug it in and have a usable amount of time before I fully recharge it. As everyone knows, if a thief really wants your bike and they are competent, they are going to get it. This alarm isn't really to deter a thief, but rather to alert me to the fact that someone is messing with my bike. I have this mounted under the seat, and then I use a cable lock to secure my seat to the bike. Cables are relatively easy to defeat if you have the right tool, but I do this as another layer of security to keep someone from running off with my seat. Along with that, I use a heavy duty chain with a high security rating to secure my bike to a fixed object. It's sad we have to go through all these safety measures, but in this day and age you have to be cautious. Again, a determined thief with the right tools is going to get your bike. But hopefully this alarm will add a bit more security and allow you to intervene, or at least snap a photo of the thief as they are riding off. Along with using this out on the trails, I'll be setting the alarm at night the next time we go camping. Just another safety measure, and will wake up the campground should someone mess with it. Overall I'm very happy with this alarm, and I hope to get years of use out of it. My old one that requires batteries is 3 years old now and still going strong. ... show more

Wow this is a great little alarm, very loud, so loud it will wake the dead who will be very angry that you disturbed their RIP, that's how loud it is. This is for an eBike to provide additional security, I mounted it underneath the seat, see photo. When you press the activate button on the remote you hear a brief 1 sec melody that it's initiating, then after about 2 seconds you hear one beep letting you know it's activated and ready. If it's bumped or otherwise senses motion two loud beeps sound as a warning, and if it's bumped or moved again then the alarm wails extremely loud for about 30 seconds, then stops. Or if it continues to sense motion then the loud alarm sound wails continuously until it senses no motion at which time it stops. Additionally there are 7 adjustable sensitivity levels and 3 adjustable volume levels, the default settings from the factory are the most sensitive and the loudest alarm sound, and of course you can change these to your liking. And the alarm is also IP65 waterproof, so it should be okay in the rain if that occurs. No anti-theft alarm is perfect, but this little guy will definitely be a big and immediate surprise to any would be thief, who no doubt will reconsider what he's doing, while also being concerned about people in the vicinity who no doubt have turned to look towards the alarm noise. The alarm battery is rechargeable via the included USB cable and the remote requires one 12V/27A small cylindrical battery. And you can use these anywhere, I also purchased another one for our RV travel trailer entry door (mounted on inside of door, still very loud from outside, will definitely make its presence known).     • Good and loud. Very nice looking remote.
This thing is good and loud and should help deter theft. I like the fact that you can change tones and set the sensitivity. The alarm will warn the person with a chirp first but if the movement continues the full alarm will sound. Very nice.
