If you know what a bonfire smells like, it’s unlikely you would walk into a room where an Evening Bonfire candle was burning and say, “It smells like a bonfire in here.” Boy, I would love it if someone could figure out how to make that happen, though! That being said, this particular scent is pleasant and doesn’t smell overly sweet. WoodWick candles are among my favorite brands of candles because I love the gentle crackling sound each one makes as it burns, and I never think the scent is overpowering. However, after I’ve burned up Evening Bonfire, I would never purchase this specific scent again. It’s a fine scent, just nothing special to me. I gave this review four stars because, although it doesn’t smell like a bonfire as I was hoping it would, the scent is pleasing enough, and I love the WoodWick sound. ... show more

Was looking for a candle with a "campfire" scent; found this one. I'm not sure what this one smells like; I like it..... but it does not put me in mind of wood smoke.

This smells super strong like ladies perfume. With its name of "evening Bonfire" We thought this might smell a little bit like bonfire smoke. Instead it smells more like my grandmothers perfume. In fact the perfume smell is so strong that after lighting it we immediately tossed $18 dollars worth of candle directly into the trash....The outside trash out in the garage, not the inside trash in the kitchen. The perfume smell is totally overpowering. It's too bad to. We absolutely love the one that smells like Frazier Fur but this one just smells like old lady's perfume. I have no idea how they even came up with the name of Evening Bonfire for something that smells so badly like cheap dime store perfume. ... show more
