At first I thought it smell like rubber at first sniff and was adamant about returning however for those who don't know pest HATE the smell of cinnamon and I had a bug problem recently. So, it starts to burn and I realize it's more natural and it smells awesome. Love it!

Yankee candles are long lasting and deliver a clean, crisp fragrance that fills the house. Cheaper candles have a “watered down” smell that doesn’t fill the room. *Edit: Yankee Candle made it right. I called, and they had me choose a new candle, shipped to me free of charge. It burned straight down the center to about an inch deep and about an inch in diameter. Candle will not re-light because there is no wick above the wax. It did not burn evenly at all. I bought many 22oz single wick Yankee candles and generally was very happy with them. However, this candle is terrible. Usually, the wax melts evenly when you let the candle lit for some time. That's not the case with this one. It's probably because the flame is very low to the point where it is almost dying. I am not sure if they had some production problem but this candle won't last very long and because of the low flame doesn't give a nice smell to the room. And after about 1h of burning the flame indeed died. Update: I returned the original candle and asked for a replacement. The replacement had the same issue. See the second image. The candle on the right is the one with the low flame that eventually died. The flame actually looks bigger in the image than it really was. On the left is a candle that I lit much later. You can see how the wax completely melted with the candle on the left but not on the right. I just visited a relative this weekend and they had the same issue also with a Yankee candle and commented that they didn't have that problem before. ... show more
