This set makes it very easy to create an incline and elevated rail bed without the fuss of trying to figure out the mathematical angle separately. The notches in the product also make the rail bed easy to shape into curves and angles. Purchased both the 3% and 4% incline set to use on my layout I am building for my grandkids. This is a really simple product that replaces the old way of creating a sloped incline and makes it a piece of cake. You lay the sections on your board where you want the track to go. I glued them down using construction adhesive. And then you build up the scenery around them, attach your coke bed and lay on the tracks.
