I just put this bathouse up and i love the way it looks. Very subtle but stylish look. Hopefully bats move in soon and start eating our mosquitos. Wish this came with hardware to mount it. If you want to mount it in a tree, make sure you get stainless steel screws (so they wont rust) and one washer for the hole at the bottom. Id reccomend an inch and a half length for the top and honestly probably 2 inches for the bottom hole (to accomodate the size of the back board). Less than a dollar's worth of hardware but would have been nice if it were included in the box. ... show more

I liked the look of it and the price of it , so I figured I’d buy it . I was surprised at the great quality for the price . I have a couple other bat houses that are basically rectangle boxes and 3 or 4 times the price of this one . Unlike the ones I have that they said were made out of cedar wood , this one definitely is being it has the very strong cedar smell the others didn’t have . It’s A great buy . ... show more

Cute and well made bat house. I have bats in the area but after a month I still don’t see any sightings of it being used. Maybe because it had a strange smell when I opened it. I’m sure it will air out, if it hasn’t already. I have it hanging 25-30 feet up in a tree.
