It appears to be an adequate house for bugs. Easy to attach to a wall or tree. I bought 2 for different sides of the house. I am unable to say if they work until more time has passed.

My biggest problem with it is you can’t clean it or open it in any way. I wish one of the sides was on a hinge so I could clean the butterfly box if needed. The bamboo pieces are also glued in, so I can’t replace them if I need to. The front panel of the butterfly portion arrived cracked, but I didn’t see that as enough of a reason to return it. After putting it outside for a few days, one of the sides has started to come off. Also the pieces of the block on the bottom do not fit together properly. Overall, it’s pretty good for 25 bucks. The bees have already used two of the bamboo tubes to lay eggs in, which is all I wanted because it’s an alternative to them eating holes into the side of my house. ... show more

This is a wonderful size and is beautiful. I love that it has room for butterfly's and bee's. I will be using it in my garden this year. It is very heavy duty and well made. I looked for a few days for a bug house and decided on this one & am very happy with my choice.
