you can go reread that headline again but I am using to make/build a hollowing rig because of the ones that are available cost without any tooling is too close to 250 dollars, using this along with some bolts, aluminum bars and plate. not to mention tooling I saved 80 dollars. and that can go into some wood to make cool stuff on my lathe. PLUS and can revert it back to a steady rest when needed ... show more

If you look at the pictures what they are showing are two different tools. It maybe good for small work, but I was looking for something biger.

May work for very small projects Not reliable. Does not hold project steady Do not waste your money on it. As a matter of fact I’ll sell mine for half the purchase price
