2 of the brands that I tried first were multi color and warm white and they were not bright enough, and the warm white did not work well with my other lighting in the backyard. These have been great and predictable.. Brighter than all the other 3 that I tried. I did the due diligence for you!

These look great when they work but the problem is that they don’t! We have moved them all over the front of our house and they’re not charging or staying on. These are much better suited for accent lighting versus any actual usable light. The light throw is semi-short but this isn't all a bad thing necessarily. I put these in one of the best spots on our deck for sun along with some other solar light products. They stay on about the middle of the pack - about 6 hours. The instructions don't seem to say how you change the color temperature (product says 6500K or 3000K). Turns out you just push the on/off button again and it will switch. The beam could be a little bit wider (hits the wall but not so much the floor or objects in front of it). But, these are pretty attractive looking and a nice accent. Ordered weeks before a light outage but I needed to do things around the house up to-including showering without any power. I hung two on the walls of the shower, one in the living room and one in the hallway. I don't know what I would have done without this set.. outside when in normal use in the walls of the exterior of the house, they add a touch of elegance. They are lightweight enough to carry around as well if necessary. They are sturdy plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) which is one of the sturdiest commercial types of plastic, my set of solar-spotlights are made of it too. I 'm not sure how weather resistant they are as there are aluminum versions in the market too - these are rated as waterproof. There's 2 light modes one for yellow-light and one for white-light as well as an OFF option. So far so good, no motion detection but for getting 4x and solar it's a fairly good investment considering the cost. ... show more
