I like the combined features of automatic day/night operation plus motion detection to switch from dimmed to full brightness. The fixture is metal and glass, looks good and is holding up well after several months. Two fixtures are mounted where they bake in the sun all day and don't show any fading. I like that I can adjust motion sensitivity, level of dimmed brightness and the time the light stays full bright. They come with an incandescent antique style bulb which are fairly dim. They could have left these bulbs out and reduced the price. I expect most people with replace the supplied bulb with brighter LED bulbs. I replaced them with Feit antique style dimmable LED with a spiral filament that looks great. Got them in warm white for a yellowish light to go with the antique style. Overall happy with the fixture and better Feit bulbs. ... show more

I loved this fixture and it it looks good, could have possibly had a clear cover at the bottom, but maybe that would have taken away from the look from afar. The fixture flt nice and flush against the outdoor wall. I tested it and it works well. Easy work.

Not much to say right now. I'm on the west coast, at the coast. So time will tell. They come on at the perfect time (at dusk). I only use dusk to dawn. The average primed cedar receptacles block is 7 1/2×7 1/2, the base of the light is 6 1/4 ish.. so centered, it hangs low. Get the larger blocks.. Like that the lights have motion detectors and are sensitive to motion. The quality they are built with is great. They also can be set for Dusk to Dawn lighting so they aren’t on all day and night.

    • Motion detector faces upward -- toward the sky! Can't be adjusted!!

Wow! A motion detector light with the detector facing upward toward the sky! What a concept! Unless you mount it at about 4 - 5 feet high, it will not detect motion. I am astounded at the limitations of this product design. I wanted it to light my walkway, and was hoping to have a light that is more pleasing aesthetically than a flood light. And these are aesthetically pleasing. But, they won't work at the 7 foot height they were installed at. So I had to have my electrician uninstall it, so I could reeturn it, and now they have to come back to install the replacements I end up choosing. This cost me extra $$$!! I am steaming!!! 1) They should point the motion detector downward or make it adjustable to face downward; 2) Otherwise they should clearly state that it only works at short heights. ... show more
