Unlike a cone where the dog has trouble getting food and water, my dog was comfortable wearing his blue donut (Shih tzu-size small). It was durable enough for him to rough house with it when we finally took it off. Inflation was easy.

When I picked up my new 45lb 10 month old pittie From the animal shelter, they had just neutered him, Poor thing. He had this horrible huge Plastic cone on him , way too big for his little head, so I ordered this inflatable cone in Grey, to match him😀 I had an electric inflator, so it was easy, but I could see that it would require some effort to blow up by mouth. I like everything about it, it allows him to see everybody, eat, drink, and lounge on his very own pillow. The gray fabric is really nice, looks like an expensive gray flannel suit. I put the plug on the underside so that he couldn’t chew it or even know that it was there. I trimmed the Velcro strap so that he couldn’t get a hold of it. His neck measures 16 inches and I got a large and he cannot get at his surgery site. Very easy to get on and off. I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

I have two 90lb Rottweilers and bought it for both of them when they were being spayed. The velcro strap that's supposed to secure it together, doesn't hold very well. Dog was able to put paws on the back side of it and pull out. Did help with being able to not lick themselves when I was able to keep it on them. ... show more

I was impressed when I bought original 6 mths ago for my 80 lb labrador after surgery. No issues & I was able to use again after recent surgery. I just ordered a 2nd as a backup & for convenience when I wanted to wash one. Unfortunately, quality has gone downhill. Material is too big for inner tube, it is smaller, and Velcro does not stay secure and is constantly coming undone, which defeats purpose. I will only be able to use new one for short supervised time periods while original is washed. ... show more

Ordered X-large and fits perfectly on my golden retriever with an 18" neck circumference. This product is simply the Best! Very easy to blow up and so cute on my baby girl getting ready for surgery. I was worried about her nose being too long and her being able to reach her surgery incision but this comfortable cone pillow is larger than the other ones that I've tried and she cannot reach her back leg. She is having her surgery this week but I tested the cone on her and actually put peanut butter towards where her incision would be and she cannot reach it so I am confident that this is going to work, not to mention how cute it looks! We tested it and she was able to eat and drink normally and she seems to be very comfortable while wearing it, unlike the plastic cones from the vet. Highly recommended! ... show more

Originally I ordered two for my pups who were just neutered. It turned out to fit them perfectly, they couldn't reach their surgery sites and the adjustable velcro strap worked great, as well as the cover being comfortable for my puppies. Then all the sudden one started deflating constantly, so I ordered a replacement. When that came, it was a completely different fabric cover texture, which smelled very strongly of chemicals. Even the inflatable tube was a different shape, the velcro strap was twice as long as the original, which allowed my dog to slip out of it, rendering it useless for what I needed it for. All around, it was a completely different product, as much as I liked the original, the second one was a headache. ... show more
