This kennel is pretty great. It exceeded my expectations bar far at the price point. Very sturdy build, easy to assemble, collapses fairly quickly for easy storage, easy to move on wheels, and just well made overall. I opted for the 48L X 30W X 30H which easily fits a large dog comfortably (Belgian Malinois, GSD, Husky, Golden, etc.). The additional pullout, fine grated wire elevated floor makes for easy-on-the-paws footing, even for smaller dogs (my 8-week old Belgian Malinois puppy loves it). And the black plastic pullout, bottom tray makes for easy mess cleanup. Really impressed with this crate. It IS large and does take up a good amount of room, so account for that. My 80 pound Labrador Retriever destroyed a wire crate and a resin (plastic) crate within minutes, this one has kept her contained with no injury to her or the crate! Unpacking and setup with the included tools took less than 20 minutes. The crate is very nice with a powder coat finish, sturdy steel round and square tubing. After receiving it I had her in it for the first time for about 2 hours while I ran some errands. Checking on things via security camera, she tried out the entire crate for weaknesses for about 45 minutes and then apparently gave up and laid down. While trying to make her escape, she was unable to shift the crate more than a couple of inches with the wheels locked. With the wheels unlocked it rolls easily even with her inside. It is more spacious than either of the previous crates, airy and doesn't hamper her view. The large crate bed that I had purchased for the first crate was to large for the wire or plastic crate, coming up several inches on all four sides but fits this one perfectly. I also really like being able to open the top as well as the front door, both of which have secure locks and hinge systems. I leave the front door open when I am home and she will take a toy inside and have a nap while I'm doing whatever I need to do around the house. She doesn't spend much time in a crate as I'm retired and able to take her with me most of the time and has free run of the house while I am home, but she does have separation issues and destroyed $300.00 worth of wooden window blinds after her last escape while I was gone for about an hour. I highly recommend this crate to anyone frustrated with wire or plastic crates not being able to restrain a powerful dog and the price was only about $30.00 more for this one than either of the other two that were totaled in a few minutes! ... show more

This crate is so awesome and heavy duty it looks like a lions cage from the zoo. Very well built. Rolls easy with locking wheels. My pitbull is not getting out of this crate for sure! Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This comes in a large heavy box. I opened 3 of the four sides of the box and could easily get all the pieces out on the floor. 1 person can assemble this. The wheels are with the directions and are in the center. You do not need any of your own tools. The manufacturer should make the directions in a more obvious place. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. The width of the kennel is about 31" - I can easily roll it from my family room to my bedroom. It is very solid. The air flow from below, above, and the sides of the crate is nice during this warm summer. The crate does not squeak at all. The four wheel locks make it so a large dog can't move it either. There is one side entrance and the entire top opens for entry. This is a very high quality crate for a large dog! ... show more

Easy assembly. Heavy duty. Easy to roll around. Collapses with the removal of 2 pins and 2 bolts for easy transport or moving through doorways. Dogs have kennel-sized mat for comfort and must feel very comfortable as they freely go in and out without being coerced or forced. Lower tray slides out for easy cleaning. Bar spacing allows me to reach in and pet the fur babies with ease. That does mean if you have one with behavioral issues there is enough space that I could see two being able to harm each other through the bars if one was kenneled and the other not. Overall, this is the best kennel I have ever owned. I highly recommend for the quality, durability, ease of cleaning, and comfort for the fur baby. We have had 4 in use for nearly 2 months and haven’t encountered any issues to date. The price stings a bit; but, the price:quality ratio does reflect the quality when compared to the crates/kennels purchased from the big box stores. ... show more

First of all, I have GSPs, and they can be complete and utter jerkwads--way worse than my terriers. Well, my seven-month old GSP jerkwad puppy decided after being a kind, sweet boy for the first five months that he was going to eat a couch, a recliner, four dog beds, three pillows, two pairs of jeans, countless shoes, and the footboard on my bed. Soooooo, I had to have a new kennel since he outgrew his puppy crate. And let me tell you, this steel kennel was the perfect addition. Big enough to fit him and all 27 of his toys, which he loves until he sees the couch, apparently. It's well made, strong, easy to assemble and use, and jerkwad proof. He actually likes it too and chooses to sleep in there sometimes during the day like he's crawling back inside the womb. The only weird thing about the kennel is the grating on the floor, which is actually elevated off the steel bars, so the jerkwad bangs metal on metal every time he moves. And yes, he likes to flop down on it like an old man on the sofa after gorging on Thanksgiving Day dinner. I'll have to fix that with some sound dampening material soon so he stops waking me up like a little jerkwad. Oh, and get this: he hasn't chewed up his own bed inside the kennel yet. He just chews the gariatric rat terriers' beds so their little old bodies don't get good rest. Plus, I think he knows he gets one fluffy bed before I add a bed of nails instead. That's doggy acupuncture, not cruelty to jerkwads. Overall, I highly recommend this kennel. It is definitely GSP jerkwad approved. IYKYK. ... show more
